Mount Carmel School’s Winter Carnival- MCC 2025 Sparkled with Enthusiasm

The MCC Winter Carnival 2025 was a grand success, drawing an enthusiastic crowd. Organized under the guidance of the Founders and Directors of Mount Carmel Schools, Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel alongwith the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh, the two-day event once again attracted large numbers of visitors. Held at Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh, the carnival brought together Mount Carmelites and Tri City residents, all eager to revel in the festive atmosphere. The event offered an exciting blend of attractions, ensuring a high turnout on both days.

Students eagerly took charge of stall decorations and management, creating a vibrant marketplace filled with delicious food, thrilling rides, and engaging games that appealed to visitors of all ages. The stage remained lively throughout with captivating dance and music performances, while students from various schools across the Tricity competed in a range of events such as the Inter-School Rock Band Competition, Inter-School Solo Mime Competition and Talent Show for Parents .

A major highlight of the event was the MCC Fashion Show, featuring the Mr. & Miss MCC 2025 contest for the school’s Class X students, which garnered significant attention. The much-anticipated raffle draw, with its exciting prizes, kept the crowd engaged till the end of the day. The infectious energy of the attendees made the carnival a truly unforgettable experience.

The event was inaugurated by the
Chief Guest Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM (RETIRED)Director Maharaja Ranjit Singh AFPI and the closing ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Renu Bansal (Educationist & Social Worker) along with Ms.Jaspinder Kaur Suri Specialization in GIS and Remote Sensing as the Guest of Honour. Other esteemed dignitaries present included the Founders and Directors of Mount Carmel Schools, Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel.

Many schools from the tricity joined the carnival for participating in  various Inter-School Competitions.Deepakshi was crowned as Miss MCC-2025.Sugamdeep won the title of Mr. MCC-2025.

Parents appreciated the dedicated efforts of the school management, Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh, and the staff for organizing such a wonderful event. They emphasized that events like these contribute significantly to the holistic development of students, offering them a valuable platform to showcase their talents.
