United Sikhs deploys more ambulances in North India
Demokretic Front Corresspondent, Amritsar – September 24 :
In order to meet the need for urgent medical assistance, United Sikhs launched three more ambulances for more districts in North India. These would provide health emergency assistance in Amritsar, Jammu, and surrounding areas in the Ludhiana district. Two of the newly launched ambulances are Type C, which is larger and equipped with life support assistance.
United Sikhs’ humanitarian wing has already been rendering the ambulance service in Ludhiana, Delhi, and Bengaluru to provide timely, round-the-clock, and free-of-cost service to people needing emergency support, and helped save precious lives.
Changing health dynamics due to Covid, modern lifestyle, pollution, and other factors have given rise to more health problems and medical emergencies. The need for well-equipped ambulances has also increased to address these health challenges.
“To meet the requirement and requests for ambulances from more areas, we are starting ambulance service in Amritsar, Jammu, and Sudhar in western Ludhiana,” said Parminder Singh, India Director of United Sikhs.
“The core of our philosophy is an unwavering commitment to civic service and social progress for the common good. As a global grassroots organization, we would continue to work to empower those in need,” added Daljit Singh, Executive Director, United Sikhs.
