One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Chandigarh Police arrested Satbir Singh Rawat R/o # 338, Gali No. 8, Village Dariya, Chandigarh while consuming liquor at public place at Market, Sector-29, Chandigarh on 25-02-2021. A case FIR No.34, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Accused later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstruction in public way

A case FIR No. 29, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Ankit Kumar R/o # 251, Village Kaimbwala, Chandigarh while he was obstructing public way with unauthorized rehri/fari near SCO No. 1008-09, Sector-22/B, Chandigarh on 25-02-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

            A case FIR No. 20, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Zirakpur (PB) who reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01AW-4257 with D/L, R/C, Aadhar Card, Insurance, Id-card, Helmet and cash Rs 1500/- parked near Kisan Mandi, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 23-02-2021.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Gourav Kumar R/o # Village Mirpur, Distt- Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB-65AC-5574 from Plot No. 72, PH-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 22-02-2021. A case FIR No. 33, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Diljit Thukral R/o Shop No. 344, Sector-44, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away copper wires from AC outdoor units of complainant’s Shop No. 344, Sector 44D, Chandigarh and also stolen copper wires of other 16 shops on 25-02-2021. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
