Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Sandeep Kumar R/o 401C, Dera Sahib Gurudwara, Manimajra, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Fun Republic Parking, Manimajra, Chandigarh, on 22.02.2021. Total cash Rs. 10,060/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 30, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

  A case FIR No. 25, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ct. Varinder Singh, PS-31 who reported that driver of Creta car No. PB18H-0021 namely Karmandeep Singh R/o VPO-Ghoman, Distt-Gurdaspur (PB) rashly & negligently driven his vehicle and hit to boundary of Beat Box, Faidan, Chandigarh and also hit to M/Cycle No CH01G1-0191 on 21.02.2021. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Ram Bahadur R/o # 67, Buterla, Sector-41, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away mobile phone from the complainant’s house on 22-02-2021. A case FIR No. 56, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
