One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vabhav Sharma R/o Gali No. 1, Dardi Colony, Samana, Patiala, PB (Age 23 years) and recovered 7 gram heroin/smack from his possession near Govt. High School, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh on 26.11.2020 . A case FIR No. 166, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A girl resident of Sector 44, Chandigarh reported that one unknown person occupant of motor cycle snatched away complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 1000/-, mobile phone & documents near H.No. 256, Sector 44A, Chandigarh on 26.11.2020. A case FIR No. 227, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 219, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector-50, Chandigarh who alleged that Randeep Ghoshal and others, members of Unifact Edutech Pvt. Ltd. # 103/104, Vipul Arora Mall, MG road, Gurgaon (HR) cheated Rs. 8,78,000/- from complainant for providing study visa to Germany to complainant’s daughter. Investigation of the case is in progress.
