Deterred public servant from govt. duty

          A case FIR No. 150, U/S 332, 353, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of Balraj Chhikara R/o SDE Building, MC, Sector-17, Chandigarh against Shamsher R/o # 1372, Village-Burail, Chandigarh, Gobind R/o # 1430, Village-Burail, Chandigarh, Sajjan Kumar R/o # 636, Village-Burail, Chandigarh and Ram Niwas R/o # 34, Baltana (PB)  who quarreled with enforcement team and deterred them from discharge of Govt. duty near Booth No. 752, Motor Market, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 19.09.2020. Alleged persons have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 290, U/S 332, 353, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against two ladies R/o Sector 56, Chandigarh who quarreled and deterred lady police officials from discharge of Govt. duty near Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sector 56, Chandigarh on 19.09.2020. Alleged persons have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

A case FIR No. 183, U/S 394, 34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manoj Kumar R/o # 775/2, Mohalla Shiv Thakur Dwara, Manimajra, Chandigarh who reported that three unknown persons boarded in his cab Swift Dzire car No. PB-01B-4713 near Gate No. 3, Modern Housing Complex, MM, Chandigarh and when they reached the road near Kalagram Light point, Chandigarh towards Kishangarh Chowk  they assaulted the complainant with a hammer and robbed away his car at gunpoint on 19.09.2020. Victim got injured and admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to Theft

Deepak Verma, AGS TTL, The statement Building, Plot No. 149, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh reported that unknown persons attempted theft at the ATM machine of Axis Bank, SCO No. 134-36, Sector-34/A, Chandigarh by breaking the ATM Machine on the night intervening 18/19-09-2020. A case FIR No. 188, U/S 380, 427, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Parvej Kumar Garg R/o # 1249, Sector-42B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Innova car No. CH-01AZ-1480 parked near his residence on the night intervening 10/11-09-2020. A case FIR No. 180, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 141, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the statement of Deepak R/o # 4753/2, Sector-38W, Chandigarh against a minor boy, driver of Truck No. PB-11BU-3592 who hit complainant’s brother namely Arjun R/o # 4753/2, Sector-38/West, Chandigarh riding a rehri near Old Gurudwara Turn, DMC, Chandigarh on 19.09.2020. Victim was injured and declared brought dead at GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
