Chandigarh Police arrested Ravi R/o # 1337/A, EWS colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh (age 19 years) and recovered 1 Kg. & 140 gram Ganja from his possession near community center outer road, EWS Colony, Dhanas on 18.09.2020. A case FIR No. 119, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 288, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Harkamalpreet R/o # 3525, Sector-38D, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated cash Rs. 37563/- on  from his ICICI bank account. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 289, U/S 120-B, 419, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector-38, Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated cash Rs. 3891/- in pretext of update of KYC. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 164, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Gurugram (HR) who alleged that Shamsher Khan R/o # 1371/2, Sector-30-B, Chandigarh who hit to complainant (pedestrian), with hit motorcycle No. CH01AJ4329 near Mini Secretariat, Sector 17, Chandigarh on 18.09.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.
