PROCLAIMED OFFENDER since 14 years namely Balbir Ram @ Bali arrested by Operations Cell

On15.09.2020, a secret information was received that a Proclaimed Offender namely Balbir Ram @ Bali S/o Mastram, r/o Village-Saroya, PS-Pojewal, Nawashahar, Pb., Age 38 years, accused of Case FIR No.99 Dated 22.03.2001 U/S 363, 366 IPC, P.S-11, Chandigarh, whois present at his residing i.e.Village-Saroya, PS-Pojewal, Nawashahar, Pb. and if police party raided at his house he will be apprehended.

              After receiving this information, a police party of Operations Cell was deputed under the supervision of Inspector Ranjeet Singh, I/C Operations Cell and the close guidance of Smt. Rashmi Sharma Yadav, DANIPS, DSP Operations, headed by HC Lakhwinder Singh 3376/CPHC Jaswinder Kumar No.832/CP to apprehend the said accused. On 15.09.2020,Police party raided and arrested the accused Balbir Ram @ Bali from Village-Saroya, PS-Pojewal, Nawashahar, Pb. During interrogation accused disclosed that he was absconded since 2006.

Brief of Cases:-

1. FIR No.99 Dated 22.03.2001 U/S 363, 366 IPC, P.S-11, Chandigarh.

              The above said case was registered on the complaint of a person resident of Panjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh, in which he statedthat on dated 03.03.2001, his daughter waswent to sector-15 but didn’t return back.Later on he came to know that a boy namely Balbir Ram @ Balialongwith his associate kidnapped her. Further on the statement of his daughter the above said case was registered against accused Balbir Ram @ Bali and his associate. Accused Balbir Ram @ Bali was arrested in this case and release on bail. After release on bailBalbir Ram @ Bali was absconded since 2006 and declared PO on 10.05.2006 by the Hon’ble Court.

              Today, i.e. on 16.09.2020, accused Balbir Ram @ Bali have been produced in the concerned Hon’ble Courtand was sent to 14 days Judicial Custody.
