TRAFFIC ADVISORY FOR CARNIVAL PARADE

CHANDIGARH – 15.2.2020

                   Chandigarh Urban Festival-2020 will be organized from 9^th to 16^th February, 2020 by ACT Chandigarh in association with Chandigarh Tourism Department. As part of this festival, on 16.2.2020, a Carnival Parade which will include March-cum-performance by various groups of college students shall pass alongwith tableaux from Matka Chowk upto Capital Complex, Sector 1 (both the carriageways) on Jan Marg from 3.00 PM onwards.

                The general public is hereby advised to avoid the stretch of road from Matka Chowk upto Capital Complex Sector 1 on Jan Marg between 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM on 16.2.2020. The movement of emergency vehicles will be facilitated on the abovesaid route.

                Inconvenience caused to the general public on account of these restrictions is regretted. General public is requested to cooperate with the police.
