Four arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Four cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, PS Maulijagran and PS-IT park, Chandigarh against four person who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 01.02.2020. Later they were released on bail.
Action against obstructing public way
A case FIR No. 17, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Jasbir R/o # WINSOR Farm, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari on 01-02-2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 17, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh against Amandeep Singh R/o Booth No.315, Sector-32D, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public place with installing table and chair near his Booth on 01.02.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Sourabh Kashyap R/o # 606, Sector-31-A, Chandigarh Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Motorcycle No.PB35L-4985, from Shastri Market, Sector-22, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 20, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
Accident
Abhinav R/o # 1359, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that driver namely Gurmail Singh R/o Village Kot-Duna, Distt. Barnala (PB) of Swift car No. HR56-B8699 hit to Complainant’s Aviator No. CH01BE-2022 at Chowk Sector 02/03-10/11 on 01.02.2020. Complainant got injured and was admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 12, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 08, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohinder Singh Lamba, Asstt. Manager at SBI Bank, Sector 8C, Chandigarh against Jitender Pal Singh R/o # 617, Lift No.7 ONYXE PARASIO, Patiala Road, Zirakpur (PB), who cheated cash Rs. 20 lac for purchasing of car on 03.03.2014. Investigation of case is in progress.
