Two persons arrested for consuming liquor at public place

           Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17 & PS-26, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 17.11.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 286, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against Ashish Khokhar R/o # 99, Old Indra Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near Inner Mini Market, Sector-9, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 351, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Joginder Singh R/o # 556, Shashtri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near # 2243, Sector 22A, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 354, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Rakesh Kumar R/o Village-Raniapur, Hinduli Kalan, Balrampur Shivpura (UP) who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near SCO No. 70, Sec-17C, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          A lady resident of Sector 41A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01BN-2203 parked near Nehru Park Parking, Sector-22 Chandigarh on 09-11-2019. A case FIR No. 353, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Pawan Kumar R/o # 105, Gali No-8C, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH01-TE-3867 parked at parking, Shivalik Park, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 17-11-2019. A case FIR No. 193, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 260, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Kappu Sada R/o Warandha, SCO No. 90-91, Sector-8C, Chandigarh against unknown driver of truck who hit to complainant’s brother Pappu Sada near Gate No. 1, TPT Area, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 17.11.2019. Pappu got injured and admitted lifted to GH-16, Chandigarh where he was declared brought dead. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

A case FIR No. 294, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Suraj R/o Jhuggi No. 410/K, Ph-1, Sanjay Labour Colony, Ind. Area, Chandigarh who alleged that Akash and Sanjeet beaten/threatened complainant, while going towards his residence on 15.11.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Brig. Balwinder Singh, SM, Retd. R/o # 101, Sector-11, Chandigarh alleged that Lokesh R/o # 176 C/o Soni Village, Kaimbwala, Chandigarh stolen away cash Rs. 1 lakh, two gold jhumka, gold bangles, diamond studs one pair, gold chain one pair from complainant’s relative house i.e. # 6099, Duplex Manimajra, Chandigarh on 17.11.2019. A case FIR No. 194, U/S 381 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
