Three arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          A case FIR No. 266, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI Ram Babu, Traffic Staff against Nikhil Malik R/o # 1692/1, Sector-29, Chandigarh who was arrested at Drunken Driving Traffic Naka near OCF Factory, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 98 quarters of country made liquor carried on Activa Scooter No. CH01BV7193 on 04.10.2019. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 254, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI Pawan Kumar, Traffic Staff against Sandeep Kumar R/o Village-Sabhuwal, Kathgarh, SBS Nagar, Distt-Nawa Sehar (PB) who was arrested at Drunken Driving Traffic Naka at road near Gurudwara Sahib, Sector 47, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 16 boxes of country made liquor carried in Zen car No. PB32D6611 on 04.10.2019. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Chandigarh Police arrested Saleem Ansari R/o # 3955, Sector-56, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 25 quarters of country made liquor near T-Point near Sports Complex, Sector-56, Chandigarh on 05.10.2019. A case FIR No. 351, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 161, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Shiv Kumar R/o # 4069, Mouli Complex, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near Market, MHC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 05.10.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 162, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Ram Nath R/o # 588, New Indra Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near Gali No. 4 Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 05.10.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 163, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Ranku Seksana R/o # 1468/2, Mori Gate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near Bus Stand, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 05.10.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 205, U/S 279, 337, IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the statement of Manoj R/o Jhuggi No. 2380, DBC, Sector-25/D, Chandigarh against unknown driver of Motor Cycle No. CH-04C-6657 who was sped away after hitting to complainant’s father namely Prithvi (pedestrian) near Jhuggi No. 2398, DBC, Sector-25/D, Chandigarh on 01.10.2019. He got injured and was admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Harish Madan R/o # 2330, Sector-23/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away ceiling fans, loose electric wire 15 kg, 7 wire rolls, utensils, electrical geyser, wall grinding machine, screw machine tools and cash 3200/- from ground floor of his house on the night intervening 28/29-09-2019. A case FIR No. 316, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Tejveer Singh R/o # 160, Shastri Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No. CH-01BP-7043 parked near Polytechnic College, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 05-10-2019. A case FIR No. 233, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Pardeep Saluja R/o # 5134, Sector-38/W, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Splendor M/Cycle No. CH-04H-2494 from Parking Dispensary, Sec-56, Chandigarh on 04-10-2019. Snatching

A lady resident of Sector 32A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person occupant of Motor Cycle snatched away complainant’s purse containing Rs. 3000/- and mobile phone near Market, Sector 32, Chandigarh on 05.10.2019. Theft

Dharmvir R/o # 637, Dadu Majra, Sector-38/W, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Cycle of complainant’s son parked near Pioneer Coaching Center, Sector-40, Chandigarh on 27-09     -2019. Jagdish Singh R/o # 2652, Sector-40/C, Chandigarh reported that two unknown boys stole away one bag containing handloom items (raakhi) from verandah of his showroom i.e. SCO No. 86, Sector 38C, Chandigarh on 05-10-2019.
