On 11.09.2019, Chandigarh Police achieved a major success when police team of Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh arrested one Sarwar Khan and recovered 50 injections out of which, 25 Injections of Pheniramine Melate 10 ML each & 25 injections of Buprenorphine 2 ML each without Permit/Licence.

MODUS OPEREDI  :

During interrogation, it emerged that the accused committed the crime to fulfill his needs of drugs as he is habitual drug addict and whenever he need drug, he used to do petty crime. The following case has been registered against him.

FIR No. 304 dated 11.09.2019 U/S 22 NDPS Act, PS-39, Chandigarh.

Brief Facts :  ASI Parminder Singh No. 1070/CHG Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh reported that on 11.09.2019 at about 6.00 PM, while he along with Police Party were on patrolling duty Near T-point, Dividing Road, Sector-39 C/D, Chandigarh in view of curve the theft and snatching incidents in the city, he nabbed one Sarwar Khan S/o Late Salim Khan R/o #13, Govt. Toilet, Near Mandir, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh, Age-36 years.   While he was carrying 50 injections out of which, 25 Injections of Pheniramine Melate 10 ML each & 25 injections of Buprenorphine 2 ML each without Permit/Licence.  Accused arrested on the spot

Sarwar Khan S/o Late Salim Khan, Age-36 Years, Address-#13, Near Mandir, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh, Qualification-Illiterate, Occupation-Carpenter, Marital Status-Unmarried.  Family– 2 Male Brother & 3 Sisters, Habit-Drug Addict.

Korel, CHANDIGARH – 12.09.2019

04 persons arrested while consuming liquor at public place

          In continuation of a special drive against consuming liquor at public place, yesterday, the drive was carried out in different parts of the city. Under this drive total 04 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered in different police stations of Chandigarh in which total 4 persons were arrested while consuming liquor at public   place. All later on bailed out. The detail of police Stations in which cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 got registered:- PS=17-01 case, PS-IT park= 02 cases, PS-39=01 case.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sarvar Khan R/o # 13, Village Maloya, Chandigarh, near dividing road, Sector-39 C/D on 11.09.2019 and recovered 25 injections of pheniramine maleate and 25 injections of Buperanorphine drugs from his possession. A case FIR No. 304, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested in Theft case

Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Kishori Lal Sharma R/o H No-122 A, Sector- 37 A, Chandigarh and presently working as manager mail business unit Chandigarh, GPO Sector-17, Chandigarh reported that Pintoo Tiwari R/o Vill. Mankot. P.O. Jabdah, Distt. Balrampur (UP) stolen 9 bags of postal articles from Post Office, Sector-17 on 10.09.2019. A case FIR No. 279, U/S 380, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Accused Pintoo Tiwari R/o Vill. Mankot. P.O. Jabdah, Distt. Balrampur (UP), has been arrested on 11.09.2019 and stolen property recovered from his possession.

Cheating

Dayalu Beck R/o Chief manager, PNB, Sector-9, Chandigarh alleged that Kusum Lata, employee working as CTO-A in branch had issued ATM card of customer and fraudulently withdrawn Rs.20,000/- by changing mobile number of customer. A case FIR No. 247, U/S 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 380, 201 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Rajan Badhwar R/o Local Head office, Administration Department, SBI, Sector-17, Chandigarh reported that Gyan Parkash, Deputy Manager, Office Administration Deptt, Local Head Office, SBI, Sector 17, Chandigarh while posted as OAD assigned the duty to pay medical bills and during preliminary investigation irregularities in medical bills were found. A case FIR No. 281, U/S 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Harbhajan singh R/o # 2806/2, Sector-47, Chandigarh reported that Satinder Pal Singh R/o # 104, village Burial, Chandigarh, who taken Rs. 5 lakh from complainant for providing visa to Canada for complainant and his wife. But he neither provided visa and nor returned the money. A case FIR No. 228, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

Sunny patel R/o # 331/1, Rajiv colony, Sector-17, Panchkula reported that Sunil r/o # 3036, Sector-28, Chandigarh, driver of Auto No.PB65AS0254 hit to cyclist namely Ram Shankar at Sector 8/18 dividing road on 10.09.2019. Resultantly cyclist namely Ram Sahankar got injuries and admitted in PGI. A case FIR No. 248, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel

Veerpal R/o # 4123, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh reported that Gajender who beaten/threatened complainant near Gate No.2, Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 11.09.2019. A case FIR No. 218, U/S 323, 341, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

 Harkirat R/o # 278, Sector-22-A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole his Duster car No.CH01AS-4473 from infront of his residence on 09.09.2019. A case FIR No. 280 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Surinder Ali R/o # 1208, Sector-40-B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole his Activa Scooter No.CH01AY-3785 from Mandi, Sector-40, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 305 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

आगामी महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी के चेयरमैन कांग्रेस नेता ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया और कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी के बीच होने वाली बैठक टलने की खबरों के बीच सिंधिया की तरफ से सफाई आई है। इस बारे में सिंधिया ने कहा, ‘मैंने सोनिया गांधी से मिलने के लिए समय नहीं मांगा था, ऐसी खबरें गलत थीं, मैं महाराष्ट्र चुनाव पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहा हूं।’

नई दिल्ली: 

कांग्रेस नेता और पूर्व सांसद ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया को मंगलवार को कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी से  मिलने का मिलने वक्त नहीं मिल पाया. सूत्रों का कहना है कि मंगलवार को महाराष्ट्र स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी की बैठक है जिसे काफी अहम माना जा रहा है.

बता दें मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस में घमासान मचा है. मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस की कलह पार्टी हाईकमान के लिए चिंता का सबब बनी हुई है. कुछ दिनों पहले सोनिया ने प्रदेश नेताओं को निर्देश दिया था कि अगर किसी को किसी भी नेता या सरकार से कोई दिक्कत है तो वो पार्टी के अंदर उचित फोरम पर उठाए,उसकी समस्या का निदान ज़रूर होगा. अगर उचित फोरम बात न सुनी जाए तो पार्टी अध्यक्ष को भी मामलों से अवगत करा सकते हैं. सोनिया गांधी ने मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ से भी चर्चा की है. 

सिंधिया को सोनिया द्वारा समय न दिये जाने पर सिंधिया की सफाई कुछ इस तरह से सामने आई है:

राज्य में लगभग डेढ़ दशक बाद सत्ता में आई कांग्रेस नए अध्यक्ष की तलाश कर रही है. प्रदेश अध्यक्ष कमलनाथ वर्तमान में मुख्यमंत्री भी हैं और वे विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद से कई बार पार्टी हाईकमान के सामने नया अध्यक्ष बनाने का अनुरोध कर चुके हैं. इतना ही नहीं, वह अध्यक्ष पद से इस्तीफा देने की पेशकश भी कर चुके हैं. इसके बाद से ही नए अध्यक्ष को लेकर पार्टी में मंथन का दौर जारी है.

कांग्रेस के भीतर चल रही खींचतान का ही नतीजा है कि एक साथ 10 से ज्यादा नेताओं के नाम पार्टी अध्यक्ष की दौड़ में शामिल हो गए हैं. इनमें प्रमुख रूप से पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री दिग्विजय सिंह, पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया, पूर्व नेता प्रतिपक्ष अजय सिंह, पूर्व मंत्री मुकेश नायक, वर्तमान मंत्री उमंग सिंघार के नाम शामिल हैं. इसके अलावा ओमकार सिंह, मरकाम कमलेश्वर पटेल, सज्जन वर्मा, बाला बच्चन, पूर्व सांसद मीनाक्षी नटराजन और पूर्व महिला अध्यक्ष शोभा ओझा के नाम की चर्चा भी जोरों पर है.

The Local Police has achieved a major success by arresting one Shiv Parsad S/o Ram Kumar R/o Vill-Mansukh Baikunthpur, Distt-Koriya Chattisgarh by the team of Police Station-36 Chandigarh. On 10.9.19 SI Rajesh Kumar along with police party was performing Patrolling duty duty at ISBT, Sec-43, Chd.

When they were checking the vehicles at Back Side parking near entry gate  ISBT 43 Chd, they saw that one pedestrian was coming outside from the ISBT- 43, Chd and carrying a plastic bag on his right shoulder. On seeing the police party ahead he immediately turned back and starting moving towards the opposite side. On the basis of suspicion, he was nabbed by police party he disclosed his name Shiv Parsad S/o Ram Kumar R/o Vill-Mansukh Baikunthpur, Distt-Koriya Chattisgarh age 40 yrs. While checking the plastic bag 20KG, 200GM Ganja was recovered from his plastic carry bag.

In this regard Case FIR no. 185 dt. 9.9.19 u/s 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chd  and accused arrested.

Education Department, Chandigarh Administration is going to start Humanities Stream only in Evening Shift in two schools i.e. GMSSS-19 and GMSSS-23, Chandigarh.  The students who didn’t get admission in any of the previous four counselling’s (Boys below 45% and Girls below 40% in Humanities only) are hereby informed to fill in the registration form (available on the website of Education Department, Chandigarh Administration i.e. www.chdeducation.gov.in) and submit the same in either GMSSS-19 or GMSSS-23, Chandigarh on 11 September (Wednesday) and 12 September (Thursday) 2019. It is also to be noted that any migration or change in stream is NOT allowed in this counselling.

The students are required to attach photocopy of their detail marks certificate along with the registration from.

Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17 Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 09.09.2019. Later they were released on bail.

One person arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Shiv Parsad R/o Village-Mansukh Baikunthpur Distt-Koriya, Chattisgarh near gate scooter parking, ISBT, Sector43, Chandigarh and recovered 20.20 Kg Ganja from his possession on 09.09.019. A case FIR No. 185, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Tinku R/o # 6616, Sector-56, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 35 quarters of country liquor near sports complex, Sector 56, Chandigarh on 09.09.2019. A case FIR No. 303, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Manoj R/o # 857, DMC, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 48 quarters of country liquor near ground opposite Govt. Model School, Sector 38(W), Chandigarh on 09.09.2019. A case FIR No. 145, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft       

Dr. Santunu Sukhla R/o # 295, Block-O, near New Doctor’s Hostel, PGI, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Pulsar M/Cycle No. MH-31DY-6306 from Parking Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh on 08-09-2019. A case FIR No. 246, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Abishek Rana R/o Village-Chalama, Distt- Chamba (HP) Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Swift car No. HP-57-4339 parked near H.No. 3251, Sec-40, Chandigarh on the night intervening 07/08-09-2019. A case FIR No. 302, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/quarrel

A case FIR No. 214, U/S 324, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Bhura R/o Jhuggi No. 56, Bardana Colony, Sec-26, Chandigarh who alleged that Arif and his friends beaten/threatened complainant near Wine Shop, SCO No. 297, Grain Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh on 07.09.2019. Complainant got injured and was admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Kulwinder Singh R/o # 184/A, Sector-30/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away two gold rings, one gold chain, one gold set  and cash Rs. 35,000/- to 40,000/- from his house on 07.09.2019. A case FIR No. 244, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Pandit Ganpati Nautiyal R/o # 211, Ph-1, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away silver statue weight approx. 6.5 Kg and cash about Rs. 1 lakh from cash box of Shiv Mandir, Sector 39/D, Chandigarh on night intervening 08/09.09.2019. A case FIR No. 301, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 140, U/S 279, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ankita Malhotra R/o # 2010, Sec-15, Panchkula (HR) who alleged that driver of truck No. CH-04J-8551 namely Panna Lal R/o # 62/13 Village-Daria, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s Alto car No. HR-03X-0747 at light point, near Fun Republic, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 09.09.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 235, U/S 279, 304A, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the statement of Tushar Bansal R/o # 88 Sec-33A, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. CH01AW3502 hit to complainant’s friend Deepanshu riding Activa Scooter No. PB31R2630 near Airport light point, towards Hallo Majra light point, Chandigarh on 09.09.2019. Deepanshu was lifted to GMCH-32, Chandigarh where doctors declared him brought dead. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 226, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rani Sharma R/o # 2326/2 Sec-45/C, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Alto car No. CH-01AA-9751 namely Kewal Krishan had hit to complainant (pedestrian) at opposite of Makhan Cloth House, Sector 45, Chandigarh on 04.09.2019. She got injured and was admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh for treatment. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abducted

A person resident of Sector 45/B, Chandigarh reported that his daughter age about 17 years has been missing from her residence since 07-09-2019. A case FIR No. 227, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
