          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against a person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 19.08.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Accident

A case FIR No. 192, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Vijay Kumar R/o # 60, Balaji Enclave, Zirakpur, driver of Motorcycle No. HR13H-9726, who hit to a unknown pedestrian lady near Kheda Mandir at Sector 28/29 dividing road on 22.08.2019. Pedestrian lady got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 194, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Kuldeep Singh R/o # 3415, Sector-25, Chandigarh against Nitin Sehgal R/o # 900, Sector-38-A, Chandigarh, driver of car No. CH01BU-4905 hit to a cyclist near BBMB power House, Sector-28, Chandigarh on 22.08.2019. Cyclist namely Ram Nath R/o Vill Mubarkpur, Distt. Mohali got unconscious and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 195, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ram Kumar R/o # 2261, Sector-45, Chandigarh against unknown driver of car No.PB65As-5777, who sped away after hit to complainant’s motorcycle No. CH01GA4471, near petrol pump, Sec-7 on 22.08.2019. Complainant namely Ram Kumar got injuries and admitted in PGI. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 224, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohammad Sagar Ali R/o # 31, near Masjid, Zirakpur, against Harmanpreet R/o # 147, KS tower, Sector-80, Mohali, driver of motor cycle PB65AT8741 hit to motorcycle No. PB09U1511, driven by Ajmer Singh near Light point Sector 31 and Ram Darbar on 20.08.2019. Ajmer Singh got injuries and admitted in PGI. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 214, U/S 147, 148, 149, 307, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rakshit R/o Village- Guda, Distt. Karnal, who alleged that unknown person run away after attack on him and his friends namely Abhishek and Harmandeep with rod, knife and sticks at park Sector34 on 22.08.2019. Complainant namely Rakshit got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Jagtar R/o VPO Barala, Distt. Mohali, reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s pickup Jeep No. PH65AH-0509 parked near SCF No. 65, Grain Market, Sector-26, Chandigarh on the night intervening 19/20.08.2019. A case FIR No. 193, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Avtar Singh R/o Village Kumbra, Distt. Mohali, reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motorcycle No. PH65S-1063 parked near ESI hospital, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 19.08.2019. A case FIR No. 226, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
