Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 131, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Sanjeev Saini R/o Shop No. 7, Gupta Market, Manimajra, Chandigarh, who did not given information of servant of his shop to the local Police. Owner arrested and later bailed out.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Amrit Lal R/o # 202, Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh (age 29 years) near TPT light point, Chandigarh and recovered 5.5 gram heroin from his possession on 14.08.2019. A case FIR No. 187, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for Robbery

Shiv Kumar R/o # 86 Village-Daria, Chandigarh reported that two unknown boys  beaten and stabbed complainant and robbed away purse containing cash Rs. 1200/- and debit card near Ganjda Nala, Village Dairya, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on night intervening 13/14.08.2019. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 216, U/S 397, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later, one person namely Navratna R/o # 1282/1, Indira Colony, Sector 17, Panchkula (HR) age 18 ½ years has been arrested in this case.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Sachin Sharma R/o # 371/17, Colony No. 2, Khudda Lahora, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away gold jewelry and house hold articles from complainant’s residence on night intervening 13/14-08-2019. A case FIR No. 117, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Guddi R/o # 258, Shastri Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away house hold articles from complainant’s residence on 14-08-2019. Stolen articles yet not estimated by complainant. A case FIR No. 187, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sanjeev Kumar R/o # 88, Vill-Gazipur Jatta, near Dhakoli, Distt-Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s TVS Star City M/Cycle No. HR-03R-0345 parked at back side of Elante Mall near Haryana Roadways Workshop, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 09.08.2019. A case FIR No. 217, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

Hirdai Narayan Singh R/o # 1711 Mauli Complex, Chandigarh alleged that Jawahar Lal R/o # 1313, Mauli Complex, Chandigarhattacked on complainant with bottle on night intervening 13/14.08.2019.  Complainant got injuries on hand and got treatment from Hospital. A case FIR No. 152, U/S 324 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 278, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajesh Kumar R/o # 192, Vill-Togga, Distt-Mohali (PB) who alleged that driver of CH-01AQ-2224 namely Varinder R/o # 2663, DMC, Chandigarh hit to complainant’scar No. PB-65Q-5023 near Shahpur chowk, Sector 38, Chandigarh on 14.08.2019. Alleged car driver arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
