Two arrested while consuming liquor at public place

         Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 13.08.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Accident

A case FIR No. 225, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Jony R/o # 1411/1, Sec-30/B, Chandigarh against Rajat Dhamija R/o # 314, Ram Nagar, Panipat (HR) who was driving Breeza car No. PB-70D-5136 hit to complainant’s Splendor M/Cycle No. PB-34D-0494 near wine shop Village-Kaimbwala, Chandigarh on 13-08-2019. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged car driver arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

Ravinder Singh R/o # 638, near Balongi, Mohali (PB) alleged that Avtar Singh R/o near Mala road, Lot Baddi Lopan, Distt-Moga (PB) beaten complainant near Punjab University, Bus Stop, Chandigarh on 08-08-2019. A case FIR No. 162, U/S 324, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Daya Sagar R/o Prachin Shiv Mandir, Khudda Jassu, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash box from Prachin Shiv Mandir, Khudda Jassu, Chandigarh on night intervening 12/13-08-2019. A case FIR No. 116, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Rakesh R/o # 199, Gali No. 9, Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’sActiva No. CH-01BP-0961 parked near his house. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 208, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of HC Mohinder Singh (PS-34) against unknown person who stolen away one bag containing Challan Book and documents from dickey of his Activa Scooter No. CH-01AJ-2428 while parked near Beat Box parking, Sector 44, Chandigarh on 08.08.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating/Immigration Act

A case FIR No. 207 U/s 420, 120B IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Abhinn Malhotra R/o # 173/48 Ward No. 12, College Road, Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur (HP) against Rahul and others of Montroyl Academy, Sector 34, Chandigarh who cheated complainant and his sister for Rs. 1,15,000/- regarding providing job at Dubai. They neither arranged job and nor returned complainant’s money. Investigation of the case is in progress.
