Chandigarh Police arrested Sonu R/o # 2771, DMC from near Karan Taxi Stand, DMC, Chandigarh and recovered 6.46 gram heroine/smack from his possession on 16.07.2019. A case FIR No. 99, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 222, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Deepak Gulati R/o # 1358, Sector- 22/B, Chandigarh who kept tenant in his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 223, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Rajesh Kumar R/o # 776, Sector- 22/A, Chandigarh who kept tenant in his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 97, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh against Ravinder Kumar R/o # 35, Colony No. 1, Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh who kept tenant in his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 149, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Raj Kumar R/o # 192, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra who kept tenant in his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 150, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Rakesh Kumar R/o # 1572, New Indra Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh who kept tenant in his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 151, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Lalu R/o # 349, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh who kept tenant in his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

Cheating

Laxmi Kant Sharma R/o # 109/C, Village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh alleged that Anil Kumar R/o village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh who cheated with complainant’s for Rs. 1,50,000/- on the pretext of providing jobs to his children in State Bank of India and Canara Bank. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. The case has been registered on Public Window complaint after taking legal opinion. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that his daughter age about 16 years has been missing/abducted from his residence since 15.07.2019. A case FIR No. 129, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector- 42/B, Chandigarh reported that 02 unknown persons occupant of motor cycle sped away after snatching her gold chain with locket near her residence on 16.07.2019. A case FIR No. 155, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sarabjit Singh R/o village- Jangpura, Banur, Distt.- Patiala, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s splendor motor cycle No. PB-11BC-4121 while parked near Plot No. 132, Phase-1, Indst. Area, Chandigarh on 09.07.2019. A case FIR No. 181, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Ramesh Kumar R/o # 89, Village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-04H-4645 while parked near his residence during night intervening 13/14.07.2019. A case FIR No. 202, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

 Parminder Singh R/o # 3383/2, Sector- 40/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away battery from complainant’s Tata Indica car No. CH-04H-4645 while parked near his residence during night intervening 15/16.07.2019. A case FIR No. 213, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
