Youth killed in sector 40-C

Today on 28.06.2019, a 100 number call was received that a fight had
happened in 40/C mini market, Chandigarh. Later information was received that the injured was taken to PGI where he was declared brought dead.
Enquiring into the matter, a CCTV footage came into light which showed
some boys attacking the victim, Amit Katoch, age 27 years, resident of
Sunny enclave, Kharar, district Mohali. FIR has been registered in PS-39 on
the complaint of Shri Sumit Katoch, brother of the deceased. CCTV footage
has been recovered. Victim was attacked by 3-4 persons at Lucky Sweets
with knife and glass bottle. Motive of the attack is yet to be established and
further investigation is going on.
