One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 05.06.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, reported that his son age about 8 years was playing near Masjid, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 03.06.2019 and missing since then. A case FIR No. 72, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Atul Sachdev R/o # 3065, Sector-20D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s copper wires from 5 AC at his house # 3065, Sector-20/D, Chandigarh on night intervening 04/05-06-2019. A case FIR No. 69, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Munna R/o # 787, NIC, MM, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person stolen away 02 batteries from complainant’s E-Rickshaw parked near his house on 05-06-2019. A case FIR No. 113, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later on one person Suraj R/o # 2085, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh (age -34 yrs) arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A lady resident of HBC, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01BL-7253 parked near Mela Ground, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 27-05-2019. A case FIR No. 129, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Accident

A case FIR No. 164, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the statement of Parvat Lal R/o # 1852, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh against driver of car No. CH01AR3566 namely Gurpreet Singh R/o # 613, Ph-6, Mohali, (PB) who hit to complainant’s Activa Scooter No. HR03H-9527 near light point, Sector-31/Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 01.06.2019. Complainant & pillion rider Keemti Lal got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal breach of trust

Amitabh Singh R/o SCF No. 301, Swastik Vihar, Zirkpur, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person passenger of his auto taken his mobile phone for making call near H.No. 473, DMC, Chandigarh but he not returned back and took away his phone on 05.06.2019. A case FIR No. 71, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
