MV Theft
Lakhwinder Ram R/o Village- badona Kalan, Tehsil- Raipur Rani, Distt.- Panchkula, Haryana reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. HR-03Q-8835 from parking of Sector- 53, Chandigarh on 07.05.2019. A case FIR No. 100, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Udaybir Singh R/o # 2239, sector- 23/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s bicycle from near H. No. 3245/1, sector- 41/D, Chandigarh on 08.05.2019. A case FIR No. 126, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Escape from custody
A case FIR No. 107, U/S 224 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI. Bhupesh Kumar, Haryana Police against prisoner Dilbag Singh R/o village- Lakhnaour sahib, Distt.- Ambala, Haryana who is a under trial prisoner in case FIR No. 212/2017 U/s 21 NDPS Act, PS- Mulana, Distt.- Ambala, Haryana. Dilbag Singh was brought to GMCH-32 for treatment on 08.05.2019 where he ran away from Police custody. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Cheating
A case FIR No. 64, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Wren Mishra, Dy. Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission, Sector- 9, Chandigarh against Parveen R/o Village- Barsana, Distt.- Jind, Haryana and Ramesh Kumar R/o VPO- Dhandheri, Tehsil- Hansi, Distt.- Hisar, Haryana who were candidates of multitasking (non technical) staff examination, 2016. After scrutiny of the documents handwriting/signature/left-thumb impression of these candidates taken during tier-II exam on 28.01.2018 were not found matching with the handwriting/signature/left thumb impression taken during the stages of examination. After that show cause notices were issued to these candidates. They appeared in SSC and insisted that they themselves has appeared in all stages of recruitment. Their handwriting/signature/thumb impression and dossier were sent to CFSL for examination. The CFSL indicated that all the writing and signature obtained from both candidates during different stages of exam and samples taken from him after issue show cause notices are not written by same person. The case has been registered after taking legal opinion. Investigation of the case is in progress.
