One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ashwani Kumar R/o # 439, Sector- 34/A, Chandigarh from backside Iskon Temple, Sector- 36/B, Chandigarh and recovered 4.5 gram heroin from his possession on 01.05.2019. A case FIR No. 98 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village- Sarangpur, Chandigarh, reported that his son age about 11 years has been missing from near his residence since 06.05.2019. A case FIR No. 60, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS- Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A person resident of Village- Hallomajra, Chandigarh, reported that his daughter age about 15 years has been missing from her school on 06.05.2019. A case FIR No. 143, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS- 31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A lady resident of Village- Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-01BB-6270 from market, Sector- 32, Chandigarh on 27.04.2019. A case FIR No. 105, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector- 38/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Zen car No. CH-03X-4629 while parked near his residence on night intervening 28/29.04.2019. A case FIR No. 124, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal breach of trust

Diwan Singh R/o # 98, Sector- 6, Distt.- Panchkula, Haryana reported that Pankaj R/o # 7, village- Pabhat, Zirakpur, Punjab taken green color Piagoo auto No. CH-78T-4445 on rent from complainant by alluring him to gave per day profit on 27.04.2019. But alleged person did not returned back. A case FIR No. 62, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Accused person namely Pankaj has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Vikas Saini R/o # 1870, First Floor, Sector- 7/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 04 rings, 03 gold locket, 05 gold tops, 01 gold chain and 01 laptop from complainant’s residence after breaking locks on 06-05-2019. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 140, U/S 279, 337 IPC added 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Faimbeg R/o # 3311, Mauli Jagran Complex , Chandigarh who alleged that driver of ambulance No. HR-37C-8114 namely Krishal Lal R/o village- Niharsi, PS- Naggal, Distt.- Ambala, Haryana (age-27 yrs) who sped away after hitting to motor cycle No. PB-22P-5881 near Kali Bari Light Point, Chandigarh on 06.05.2019. Driver of motor cycle namely Santosh Kumar R/o # 2374/C, Block-37, Sector- 63, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Later he expired during treatment. Accused arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Deterred public servant while discharging govt. duty

A case FIR No. 766, U/S 332, 353, 419 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of HC. Ajit Singh 2743/CP, Traffic staff, Sector-29, Chandigarh against Sahil R/o # 714, EWS Colony, Village- Dhanas, Chandigarh who deterred, misbehave with complainant and also torn Challan Book while performing govt. duty near Himachal Sarai, Sector- 24, Chandigarh on 06.05.2019. Sahil has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
