One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 28.04.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Snatching

A lady resident of Naya Gaon, Punjab, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons occupant of white color activa scooter sped away after snatching complainant’s purse from near # 1373, Sector- 22/B, Chandigarh on 28.04.2019. A case FIR No. 115, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Deterred Public servant

A case FIR No. 137, U/S 279, 332, 353 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI. Krishan Dev Singh who alleged that Jagtar Singh R/o # 189, Village- Kaimbwala, Chandigarh who hit to on duty complainant with his bullet motor cycle No. PB-10BZ-3457 at Sector- 5/8 dividing road, Chandigarh on 28.04.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh for treatment. Accused person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 78, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajwan R/o # 163, Vivek Vihar, Baltana, Punjab who alleged that driver of motor cycle No. HR-03S-1478 namely Surinder R/o # 32, Sector- 15, Distt.- Panchkula, Haryana who hit to rickshaw on road from Vikas Nagar to Panchkula road on 28.04.2019. Complainant & rickshaw puller namely Ram Jivan R/o # 2, Vaishali Enclave, Baltana, Punjab both got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
