One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sahil @ Kalia R/o # 438 near Qila, Manimajra, Chandigarh from near Shahpur light point, Chandigarh and recovered 02 gram Heroin from his possession on 23.04.2019. A case FIR No. 55, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Nirbhay Singh R/o # 56, village- Buterla, Sector- 41/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Pulsar motor cycle No. PB-65(T)-2075 from parking of Distt.- Court, Sector- 43, Chandigarh on 18.04.2019. A case FIR No. 93, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vijay Pal Singh R/o # 248, Village- Badheri, Sector- 41/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. HP-37F-0652 while parked near his residence during night intervening 20/21.04.2019. A case FIR No. 109, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 96, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Puneet Parashar R/o # 3584, Sector- 23/D, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. CH-01BE-4676 sped away after hitting to complainant’s car No. CH-01BG-7343 near # 1251, Sector- 34, Chandigarh on 17.04.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

        Naved R/o # 281, Govind nagar, Village- Jhampur, Distt.- Mohali, Punjabi alleged that Abhishek, Vicky, Sunil and Chandan had beaten complainant nearKrishna Market, Sector- 41, Chandigarh on 09.04.2019. In this regard, a case FIR No. 110, U/S 325, 341, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later on 02 accused persons namely Sunil @ Ganja R/o # 165/2, Village- Badheri, Chandigarh (age-20 yrs) and Chandan R/o # 153, Village- Badheri, Chandigarh (age-22 yrs) have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
