Youth arrested, 2 cases of burglary solved

Purnoor, Chandigarh 23.04.2019 :

On 22.04.2019 , Chandigarh Police achieved a major success when police team nabbed one Inderjit Singh S/o Shri Kulwant Singh R/o House No. 1191, Dashmesh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt-Mohali (Punjab) Age-33 Years and 02 cases of burglary have been registered against him.

Brief Facts:    On 22.04.2019, Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur Sethi W/o Shri Jarnail Singh Sethi R/O #1579, Sector-38-B, Chandigarh reported that she is PR of Canada and is visited Chandigarh.  On 22.04.2019 while she returned to her home she found that someone jumped over the main gate by broke open the locks of her house stolen the mixtures/taps from first floor of her house.  On this complaint a case FIR No. 107 dated 22.04.2019 U/s 380, 454 IPC registered against unknown person.  A police team leading by HC Kirandeep constituted.  During verification from the spot, some description/clue came to light about the person who has committed the theft.  On this, information gathered from secret sources resultantly at 6.00 PM near 36/37 Light Point when police party was enquiring the incident, person namely Inderjit Singh roaming in the area round up and his carry bag searched accordingly, in which, water taps were recovered.  On further interrogation, he has disclosed about the theft committed at House No. 1512, Sector-38-B, Chandigarh on 04.04.2019.  On his disclosure statement, stolen article i.e. one I-phone 4S, one I-phone 6S and one I-pad were recovered from him and accordingly, another FIR No. 108 dated 22.04.2019 U/s 380, 454 IPC registered against the accused.  The value of recovered property is approximately Rs. One Lac and value of recovered water taps/mixtures is approximately Rs. 30,000/-.

• One I-phone 4S, One I-phone 6S, one I-pad and 17 taps/mixtures.

• Address-Inderjit SinghS/o Shri Kulwant Singh R/o House No. 1191, Dashmesh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt-Mohali (Punjab), Age-33 Years, Qualification-Graduate, Occupation Earlier, was working with property dealer, Marital Status-Married (before 02 years), Habits-Habitual Drug Addict.
