One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 10.04.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Deterred public servant while discharging govt. duty

A case FIR No. 89, U/S 332, 353, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS- 34, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI. Ranjit Singh (Traffic Staff) who alleged that Ranjit Jha, Dilkush Jha and Richa deterred complainant while discharging Govt. duty near SCO No. 121, 122, 123, Sector- 34/A, Chandigarh on 11.04.2019. Accused person namely Ranjit Jha R/o # 409, Phase-4, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab and Dilkhush Jha R/o # 351, Village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Outrage Modesty of Women

          A lady resident of Distt.- Mohali, Punjab alleged that driver of car No. CH-01AP-3542, who followed complainant, stopped her way, forced her to sit in his car and tried to outrage her modesty near Gurudwara Sahib, Sector- 34, Chandigarh on 04.04.2019. A case FIR No. 88, U/S 341, 354, 354/A, 354/B, 354/D has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later on accused person namely Vinod Kumar R/o # 2162, Mauli Complex, Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh (age-31 yrs) has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Manoj Kumar R/o # 1317, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away batteries from 04 vehicles (CH-01TB-3083, Mahindra Pick Up No. CH-01TB-5666, Tata Ace No. PB-11BF-5172 & Tavera No. CH-01AN-2134) while they were parked near Khushal Park, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on night intervening 10/11.04.2019. A case FIR No. 117, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Kiranpal R/o # 1112, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away batteries from 02 vehicles (Mahindra Pick Up No. CH-01TB-0408 & another Mahindra Pick Up No. CH-01TB-7132) while they were parked near boundary wall of CRPF Camp, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on night intervening 10/11.04.2019. A case FIR No. 118, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Gulchinder Singh R/o # 810, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 04 batteries from complainant’s E-Rickshaw while parked near his residence on night intervening 10/11.04.2019. A case FIR No. 120, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Pritpal Singh R/o # 1516, Sector- 36/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away copper wire of AC from complainant’s residence on 10.04.2019. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

J.S Rana R/o # 3887, Sector- 22, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Maruti 800 car No. CH-03-1034 while parked near sabzi mandi, Sector- 15, Chandigarh on 10.04.2019. A case FIR No. 67, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Akash Kumar R/o # 1166/A, Sector- 20/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-03W-1403 while parked near his residence on night intervening 10/11.04.2019. A case FIR No. 54, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Sunny Gupta R/o # 1038, Sector- 27/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 2 tooling dye and cash Rs. 65,000/- from Plot No. 717-718, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on night intervening 10/11-04-2019. A case FIR No. 119, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector- 49, Chandigarh reported that his son age about 05 years has been missing from Lake, Sector-42, Chandigarh since 11.04.2019. A case FIR No. 84, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 121, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Arun Sharma R/o # 01, Block-D, Mona Green-2, Zirakpur, Punjab who alleged that driver of Swift car No. PB-22K-5573 who sped away after hitting to complainant’s car No. PB-10DY-2300 near Art Gallery, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 08-04-2019. Complainant’s got injured and admitted in IVY Hospital, Sector- 71, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 88, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Pintu R/o # 242, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. CH-03A-3489 who sped away after hitting to complainant’s rehri at Transport Light Point, Chandigarh on 11-04-2019. Complainant’s and passengers namely Vikram, Inderjit, Rajkumar and Lal Ji all got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
