One arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Harpreet Singh @ Gollu R/o # 44, Village- Butrela, Sector- 41, Chandigarh from near slip road, Sector-39 C/D Turn, Chandigarh and recovered 10 gram Heroin from his possession on 10.04.2019. A case FIR No. 96, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector-22/C, Chandigarh alleged that 02 unknown persons occupant of activa scooter sped away after snatching complainant’s mobile phone from backside Shishu Niketan Schhol, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 10.04.2019. A case FIR No. 103, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajan R/o # 4929/3, Sector- 38 West, Chandigarh alleged that 03 unknown persons occupant of activa scooter sped away after snatching complainant’s mobile phone from near Mandi, Sector- 45, Chandigarh on 10.04.2019. A case FIR No. 875, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Vikram Singh R/o # 439/C, EWS Flats, Village- Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01BB-0955 while parked near his residence on night intervening 22/23.03.2019. A case FIR No. 54, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Parampal Singh R/o # 2071/C, Block No. 24, Sector- 63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Honda Amaze Car No. PB-11BE-4821 while parked near his residence on night intervening 02/03.04.2019. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/Satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested 1) Ricky R/o # 678, Sector- 38, Chandigarh 2) Monu R/o # 717/27, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh 3) Raman R/o # 661, Sector- 38/A, Chandigarh 4) Rahul R/o # 321, Sector- 25/C, Chandigarh while they were gambling at Public Toilet, Shastri Market, Sector- 22, Chandigarh on 10.04.2019. Total cash Rs. 12,550/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 104, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          C.S. Ahluwalia R/o # 119, Anupam Garden, Line No. 3, Saidullajaip, New Delhi alleged that Reena Ahluwalia R/o C-022, Rehaja Atlantis, Sector 31, Gurgaon (HR) prepared a forged will dated 9.2.2014 and got transferred 33% share of House No.132, Sector 8A, Chandigarh and further sold the same to Surinder Ahuja. A case FIR No. 105, U/S 420, 467, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the direction of Hon’ble High Court. Investigation of the case is in progress.
