Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur & 49 Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 03.04.2019.
This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.
One arrested under NDPS Act
Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Ajay Kumar R/o village- Gayasri @ Gadhi, Distt.- Bhagatpur, Uttar Pradesh from near park, village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh and recovered 50.20 gram Heroin from his possession on 03.04.2019. A case FIR No. 57, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Cheating
Parveen Saini reported that Rohit Katyal, General Manager and Bhavuk Jain, Sales Executive and others, Ultimate Hyundai, Industrial Area, Phase-1, Chandigarh cheated complainant’s Rs. 4,80,000/- which was given as booking amount for buying new Verna Car. Complainant’s had booked Hyundai Verna with ultimate automobile pvt. ltd via sales executive Bhavuk Jain who is representative of Hyundai. He said that they have coupon discount scheme in which you have to pay booking amount in cash form then Hyundai can give this discount to you. Complainant paid Rs. 4,80,000/- cash to Mr. Bhavuk Jain in different segment and in return he was given booking order form in which 4,80,000/- rupees cash is mentioned. He has given a date of delivery on dated 30/04/2018 but on the date of delivery he had refused to deliver car due to coupon discount not cleared on portal. Then on 03/05/2018, he goes to ultimate automobile and ask for his Verna car but ultimate refused to give car to him and told that your booking is not with ultimate automobiles. A case FIR No. 92, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Ashok Sharma R/o # 113, Village- Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01AP-1254 while parked near his residence on night intervening 01/02.04.2019. A case FIR No. 49, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sranagpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Eknoor Singh R/o # 304, Sarai Building, Boys Hostel, Sector- 32, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s BulletM/Cycle No. PB-10GK-7714 while parked near his hostel parking on 30.03.2019. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Abducted/missing
A lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 17 years has been missing from near her residence since 03.03.2019. A case FIR No. 45, U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 93, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Indst. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Naresh Shori R/o # 396, Village- Daria, Chandigarh against driver of unknown vehicle who sped away after hitting to cyclist person namely Diler Singh R/o # 1507/1, Churi Wala Mohalla, Manimajra, Chandigarh near Railway Bridge, Village- Daria, Chandigarh on 03.04.2019. Diler Singh got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh and later taken to Alchemist hospital, Sector-20, Distt.- Panchkula, Haryana. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 48, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Zoheb Sidhu R/o # 602, E-Block, Hamilton Grande, Wadala Chowk, Distt.- Jalandhar, Punjab against driver of truck No. PB-65AU-1994 namely Gora R/o # 14, village- Dhanas, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s car No. PB-08DD-8700 and other activa scooter No. CH-49T-5288 near Dumping ground, village- Daddumajra, Chandigarh on 03.04.2019. Driver of activa scooter namely Subarmani R/o # 6229, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
