One arrested for Theft

A case FIR No. 83, U/S 379, 411 IPC & 3 Prevention of Damage to Public Motor Vehicle Act 1987 has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI. Swaran Kumar, Traffic Staff against Varinder Singh R/o # 166, Guru-Ki-Nagri, Mandi Govind Nagar, Distt-Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab (age-21 yrs) who broken clamps on Swift Dzire car No. DL-1Z-4063 and took away the car which was clamped by traffic staff for wrong parking at back side PNB Bank, Sec-22/D, Chandigarh on 26.03.2019. Later on alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 74, U/S 420 IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gangaasudhan P.M R/o # 192, Jarnail Enclave Ph-1, Zirakpur, Chandigarh who alleged that Malkit Kaur, Office No. 201, SCO No. 364, 365 Sec-24/A taken Rs. 12 lakh from complainant and 14.5 lakh from other persons for providing Visa. But she neither provided them visa and nor returned their money. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Jaspal Singh R/o # 3374, Sector-15, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Audi car No PB-11CN-9266 parked near his house on the night intervening 17/18-03-2019. A case FIR No. 59, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Dinesh Walia R/o # 677, Ph-1, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stolen away 23 batteries of Luminous Company from Plot No. 402, Ph-2, Ind. Area Chandigarh on night intervening dated 25/26-03-2019. A case FIR No. 104, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-31 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Jhujhar Nagar, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that his son age about 17 years has been missing from near Shop No. 58, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh since 20.02.2019. A case FIR No. 44, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh.
