Prof. Sudhir Kumar has been nominated as a “Visiting Fellow”

        Prof. Sudhir Kumar, Department of Evening Studies – Multi Disciplinary Research Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh in recognition of his scholarship in the field of Comparative Literature, Indian Literary Theories and Indian Cultural Studies,  has been nominated as a “Visiting Fellow” at the prestigious ” UGC Centre For Australian and New Zealand Studies” at Himachal Pradesh University Shimla (NAAC Accredited “A” Grade University). During his tenure, Professor Sudhir Kumar will deliver a series of lectures on Comparative Literature (India, Australia and New 
Zealand ) , Indian Cultural Studies, and Comparative Literary Theories: India and West”  and interact with the faculty and students of H.P.University Shimla and its affiliated colleges.

Earlier also, Professor Sudhir Kumar was awarded the K.K.Birla Foundation Fellowship in the field of Comparative Literature. He is also the Member of 
Academic Committee, Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Rashtrapati Niwas , Shimla .
