Blood Donation Organised by KP Blood Bank

A Blood Donation was organized by voluntary group (KP Blood Bank) at Command Hospital, Panchkula,Haryana, on 24th Feb,2019.

General people came forward to donate blood in solidarity with Pulwama (J&K)Terror Attack, which was initiated by KP BLOOD BANK. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ashwani Sadhu- Founder KP Blood BANK said, I am a Kashmiri Pandit from Kashmir. I was in 4th standard when we were forced to leave our homes because of terrorism in Kashmir and that was the saddest day of my life and we became displaced community in our own country. This is the best way to show up extremist residents of Kashmir, that despite our displacement, from our own land, we did not opt for guns or fought for petty reliefs..Instead we chose, different noble path to give back to the society and to our Army jawans, in the form of voluntary blood donation. We are saving lives, regardless of religions, cast and creed; We help any one with open arms. Through this blood donation camp, we wish to show our love, affection and solidarity to Martyrs who laid down their lives, while fighting for nations’ security and freedom. We are with them at any point of time when ever need be.
He further liked to appreciate the zeal and enthusiasm of voluntarily blood donors, who are now well spread, all over India and are participating in such, noble cause whole heartedly at their stations. He committed to continue to associate for such initiatives in the near future also. More so he liked to thank Col. Dr. Tanuja Mukharjee, Blood Bank Officer, Blood bank, Command Hospital and “Team Chandgarh-Tri city” for making this event happen successfully and gracefully.
Brig. S Bhandari, IC Admin and Cdr Tps, Dean Academics, Command Hospital and Dr. Pankaj Kaul, our centurion blood donor from PGI, Chandigarh graced the occasion, and appreciated initiative of blood donors of this KP Blood Bank group. Jai Hind !
