Prof. R.K. Singla assumes charge of Dean Research, PU

        Prof. R.K. Singla, Chairperson, Department of Computer Science and Application, Panjab University, Chandigarh has been appointed as Dean Research, here today. He is Doctorate from Panjab University and has experience of more than 14 years in teaching, research and administration. He is a resource person for Refresher Courses in Computer Science and Information Technology of UGC. He is also member of Editorial Board of various Journals and has to his credit 263 citations. He has contributed various articles in magazines and newspapers. He also has presented various papers in conferences.

                He has been instrumental in development of integrated software system for function areas of PU and preparing specifications, purchasing equipments, installing and implementing Campus Wide Network. He has successfully guided many research scholars for Ph.D in Computer Science and Applications.
