Theft

          Urmila Sharma, Sr. Manager, Punjab and Sindh Bank, Sector-15, Chandigarh reported that unknown person tried to break the ATM machine installed outside the bank on 20.02.2019. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Deepak Dutt R/o # 675, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh reported that Mahesh H. Hadwani R/o # 210, Titanium City beside Sachin Tower, 11 ft. road, Satellite area, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Gajjar Nitin Ishwar Bhai R/o # 36/107, Anand Nagar Flat, Opposite Auda Garden, Satellite area, Ahmedabad, Gujarat cheated complainant regarding 3 lakh shares of Ind. Swift laboratories worth value Rs. 1.2 crore’s which was given to accused persons with 1 year agreement w.e.f 25.02.2015 till 24.02.2016. When the agreement came to end on 24.02.2016 accused persons refused to return the shares. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

Jai Kishan R/o # 2012, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh (age-18 yrs) alleged unknown person occupant of Activa snatched away complainant’s mobile phone and also injured him near Railway under Bridge, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on 21.02.2018. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 394 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Complainant’s got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Defacement of Property Act

A case FIR No. 52, U/S 3 Delhi Prevention of Defacement Act 2007 has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Karam Kashyap R/o Nikita Colony, Jagadhari, Haryana who pasted advertisement of Diksha computers, Sector-34, Chandigarh on electric pole near Verka booth, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 21.02.2019. Accused arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Amit Gupta R/o # 1433, Sector-42/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Hero Honda Passion Pro Motor Cycle No. PB-13A-0385 while parked backside Nagpal Trading Company, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 21.02.2019. A case FIR No. 51, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Desraj R/o # 325, Sector-45, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa scooter No. CH-01AG-5130 while parked near his resident on night intervening 11/12.02.2019. A case FIR No. 51, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
