Golden Jubilee Celebration of 51 Battalion CRPF

51 Battalion CRPF organized  Golden Jubilee Celebrations of its raising on 3^rd  Feb’2019 at Battalion Headquarter Hallomajara Campus, Chandigarh.  51 Battalion CRPF was raised on this day at Ajmer ( Rajasthan) and has since served in all conflict theatres of Country including J&K, Chattisgarh, Tripura, Assam and is presently deployed in Chandigarh for Security & Law & order duties. 

  Padma Shri Milkha Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion.   Sh. Nisar Mohamad, Commandant 51 Bn CRPF and other senior officers, jawans and their families were  present on the occasion.  During the occasion Padma Shri Milkha singh in his speech full of enthusiasm said he has great respect for forces of this country and lauded the efforts of CRPF in maintaining peace and security of the country. he wished 51 Battalion CRPF and its officers & jawans Good Luck in the service of the motherland. On the occasion he also called upon the children to follow his example of hard work and dedication and to bring  Olympic Gold medal  for the country. 

A mela was organized on the occasion in which Officers, jawans and their families participated with full enthusiasm.
