Traffic police is prone to lung diseases:Dr. Ravinder Khaiwal

Today On 22.12.18 a workshop on health effect of Air pollution was held at Auditorium of Traffic and security lines, Sector-29, Chandigarh   Dr Suman Mor Asstt Prof Deptt of Environment studies Panjab University, Dr Ravinder Khaiwal Addl Prof. Deptt of Community medicine & Public Health PGI and Mr Vikram Hans MD Multi gave presentation on the effect of air pollution to human body in short and long term. They specially explain how the polluted air affect  the traffic cops who are facing more than one lac vehicles each day. They suggested that traffic cops must wear masks on duty and take care of their health. Dr. Ravinder Khaiwal demonstrates how one cigarette affects the lungs of human body. Mr Vikram Hans handed over 250 masks to SSP/Security and traffic to distribute among the traffic staff. On this occasion Sh Shashank Anand, IPS. SSP/Security & traffic, Sh Jaswinder Singh, DSP/Traffic/Admn and Insp/Traffic/Admn. Mrs Sita were also present in the workshop.
