“A Cultural Fiesta-18” by Divya Public School

Divya Public School, Sector  44D Chandigarh, organized its annual function “A Cultural Fiesta-18” in the school premises on Sunday.  Rakesh Kumar Popli, PCS  Asstt. Estate Officer, U.T. was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The programme commenced with Ganesh Vandana and Tandav. After lighting the lamp, it was followed by a welcome address by O.P Goya, President Divya Educational Society. Pre-Nursery tiny tots presented “Welcome Dance” while,nursery kids performed on Dance “Everyone Dance” and  K.G on “Folk Dance”.Primary students showed a dance on “Maine Kaha Phoolon Se “ and “Om Namah Shivaay-Fusion”. Hindi Skit –“Mobile Addiction” conveyed the message to use mobile intelligently while the English  Skit –“Old Age Home” highlighted the practice of sending senior citizens to old age home.”Rainbow dance” and “Angel Dance” mesmerized the audience . “Poverty- the problem?” was showcased with the performance of skit cum dance. Electrified “Hollywood Medley “and energetic “Bhangra and Indo –Western Fusion”enthralled the audience. The Principal Rajesh Kamal extended vote of thanks. The function concluded with the ”National Anthem”
