MV Theft

Sh. Deepak Kumar R/o # 153, Sector-56, Chandigarh, reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Apache Motor cycle No. CH-01BE-5790 while parked near Leisure Valley Side Sector-10, Chandigarh on 17-11-2018. A case FIR No. 222, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Naresh Sharda R/o # 1451/A, Sector-20/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Honda City Car No. CH-03E-6243 from backside parking, U.T. Secretariat, Chandigarh on 19-11-2018. A case FIR No. 223, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Village-Ramdarbar, Chandigarh alleged that her father-in-law and mother-in-law resident of village-Ramdarbar, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 90, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 358, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Sh. Deepak Chawla R/o # 2630/B,  Sector-28/B, Chandigarh against driver of Innova car No. PB-08CX-0723 which hit to Complainant’s Grandmother namely Shanti R/o # 2630, Sector-28/C, Chandigarh near Gurudwara Sahib, Sector-28, Chandigarh on 21-11-2018. She got injured and taken to GMCH-32, Chandigarh where she expired later. Innova driver namely Arvinder Singh R/o VPO-Lidhran, Distt.-Jallandhar, Punjab arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

        A lady resident of Sector-32/A, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person on motor cycle snatched away her purse containing mobile phone, cash around Rs.3000-4000/-, Aadhar Card, pan card and some ATM Cards near her residence on 20.11.2018. A case FIR No. 409, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-61, Chandigarh alleged that two unknown persons in car snatched away her bag containing mobile phone, cash Rs.300/- and house key from market, Sector-61, Chandigarh on 13.11.2018. A case FIR No. 408, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

A case FIR No. 410, U/S 147, 148, 149, 454, 323, 307, IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mukesh Kumar R/o # 1487, Village-Burail, Chandigarh who alleged that Yovraj @ Yuvi, Kartik and 10-12 others attacked on complainant and his nephew namely Vikrant near Ram Leela Ground, Sector-45, Chandigarh on 20.11.2018. Both got injured and taken to Civil Hospital, Sector-45, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Naib Subedar Gurdeep Singh Dhariwal R/o Room No.6, Sahib Tent Store, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab working as cashier at DSOI, Sector-36, Chandigarh stolen cash Rs. 62673/-. A case FIR No. 410, U/S 408, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh.         A case FIR No. 411, U/S 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gorakh Ram R/o Flat No.11, Amazon Tower, New Sunny Enclave, Kharar, Dist.-Mohali, Punjab alleged that Prem Thapa R/o # 468, 1^st floor, Village- Dadu Majra, Chandigarh who prepared fake/forged identity documents and also prepared fake rent agreement by fake signatures of complainant. A case FIR No. 409, U/S 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sachin Kumar R/o SCO No.309-10, Sector-35, Chandigarh against Karnail Singh R/o # 3165, Ayodha Road, Barara, Distt.-Ambala, Haryana who prepared fake/forged documents and taken a business expansion loan of Rs.25,00,000/- lacs from complainant company.
