Chandigarh Police arrested Amrik Singh R/o Village-Sohi Majra, Distt-Mohali (PB) near Bridge, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh and recovered 500 gram Opium from his possession. A case FIR No. 268, U/S 18 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Sukhwant R/o Govind Sweet, Sector-7, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away CCTV camera and 4 commercial gas cylinders from backside of shop i.e. SCO No. 29-30, Sector 7, Chandigarh on 08.10.2018. A case FIR No. 327, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-34, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away two bags containing cash, laptop and items from her car parked outside of her office i.e. Aduzphere Coaching/tuitions institute, SCO No. 188-190, Sector 34, Chandigarh on 08.10.2018. A case FIR No. 364, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/o # 479/7, Village-Daria, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Passion PRO M/Cycle No. CH01AD6168 while parked near his house between 26-09-2018 TO 08-10-2018. A case FIR No. 306, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Jitender R/o # 346, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Mahindra Bolero No. HR-68C-1786 while parked near his Plot No. 105, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 04-10-2018. A case FIR No. 390, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Divyansh Tiwari R/o # 2872/2, Sector-49, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No CH-46T-891 while parked near his house on 05.10.2018. A case FIR No. 196, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dacoity

          Sh. Paramjit Singh R/o # 1777, Raiya Wala Mohalla, Main Bazar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh alleged that seven unknown persons sit in his Auto from Bus Stand, Manimajra, Chandigarh for going to Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 07.10.2018. They stopped his auto near Fish Market, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh and took away cash Rs 18000/- from his pocket on knife point. A case FIR No. 270, U/S 395, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          Mohmad Aadil R/o # 1450/25 Sec-29/B, Chandigarh alleged that 3/4 unknown persons exchange his ATM card at SBI ATM, Booth No. 36, Sector-30B, Chandigarh and withdrawn Rs. 23,000/- from his account. A case FIR No. 305, U/S 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajiv Kumar R/o # 1526, Sector-36/D, Chandigarh alleged that Naveen Kumar & others R/o # 118, Sector-46/A, Chandigarh cheated complainant regarding personal financial assistance of Rs. 30 lakh. A case FIR No. 365, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. One arrested for extorting money

A case FIR No. 364, U/S 384 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul (Manager) R/o Vill-Karamdih Kala, Distt-Gonda (UP) who alleged that Kuldeep Singh R/o Village-Warpur, Distt-Amritsar (PB) extorted Rs. 10,000/- from complainant at Hotel GHS Regency, Village Kajheri, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

A case FIR No. 298, U/S 147, 148, 323, 307 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Parvesh R/o # 1670, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh who alleged that Kismat Ali, Ajmat Ali and Hikmat Ali and 3 others attacked on complainant near H.No. 885, Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh on 07.10.2018. Complainant got injuries and admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Alleged persons namely Kismat Ali (age 28 yrs), Ajmat Ali (20 yrs) and Hikmat Ali (age 25 yrs) all R/o # 472, Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 299, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Mauli Complex, Chandigarh who alleged that Puran Kumar  @ Khanna, Shiv @ Cheechi and 7/8 others quarreled andattacked on complainant at Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh on 07.10.2018. Alleged persons namely Puran Kumar @ Khanna (age 28yrs), Shiv @ Cheechi (age 24 yrs) both R/o # 1670, Charan Singh Colony have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
