Amarinder Wants Kartarpur Corridor Opened For Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Anniversary , Writes to Sushma for Intervention

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has sought the personal intervention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in seeking access from the Pakistan government to enable devotees to visit the historic Gurudwara Sahib in Kartapur on the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji.

In a letter to the Union Minister, the Chief Minister has urged Sushma to take up the matter with her counterpart for having the corridor from the International Border to Kartarpur opened for the duration of the celebrations. “This will allow the faithful to pay their respects at the Gurudwara Sahib in Kartarpur,” said Captain Amarinder, pointing out that Kartarpur is located across the river Ravi at a distance of around 4 kms from the International Border near Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district.

The Chief Minister noted that the 550th Birth anniversary of the first Guru, who breathed his last in Kartarpur, is being observed in November 2019. He pointed out that one of the historical demands of the Sikh community has been to have access to the revered Gurudwara Sahib in Kartarpur. “The Government of Punjab has been requesting Government of India time and again for taking up the matter with the Government of Pakistan for a corridor from the International Border to Kartarpur,” he added.

Captain Amarinder further observed that in pursuance of the long-standing demand, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had made an announcement to this effect at Amritsar on 1st September 2004 on the occasion of the 400th Anniversary of Prakash Utsav of Guru Guru Granth Sahib ji. He had reiterated the same during his subsequent visits to the State in 2005 and 2006. However, despite best efforts this has not materialized, said the Chief Minister, urging Sushma to make personal efforts in the matter.

जम्मू-कश्मीर में अलगाववादी लोगों ने ईद उल जुहा की नमाज के दौरान नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के नेता और पूर्व सीएम फरुक  अब्दुल्ला को नारेबाजी करके परेशान करने की कोशिश की. हालांकि फारूक ने इस विरोध प्रदर्शन के बावजूद नमाज जारी रखी. उन्होंने बाद में विरोध जताने वालों को गुमराह लोग बताया.

पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री फारूक अब्दुल्ला आज 17 वीं सदी की हजरतबल दरगाह में  ईद उल जुहा की नमाज़ के दौरान कुछ लोगों ने परेशान किया. दरअसल, दो दिन पहले ही उन्होंने पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी के लिए एक प्रार्थना सभा के दौरान ‘‘भारत माता की जय’’ के नारे लगाए थे.

नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस नेता ने परेशान किए जाने के बावजूद अपनी नमाज जारी रखते हुए कहा कि हमारे ही गुमराह लोग ताने मार रहे और उपहास उड़ा रहे हैं. हजरतबल दरगाह में मौजूद लोगों के एक समूह से कुछ लोगों ने ‘‘फारूक अब्दुल्ला वापस जाओ’’ और ‘‘हम क्या चाहते, आजादी’’ के नारे लगाए.

नारेबाजी कर रहे युवाओं के एक धड़े ने जब अब्दुल्ला के पास जाने की कोशिश की, तब कुछ लोगों ने मानव श्रृंखला बनाकर उन्हें ऐसा करने से रोका. उस वक्त अब्दुल्ला अपने खराब स्वास्थ्य के चलते प्रथम पंक्ति में एक कुर्सी पर बैठे हुए थे. सुरक्षा बलों ने भी श्रीनगर से लोकसभा सदस्य की सुरक्षा के लिए एक घेरा बनाया.

फारुक अब्दुल्ला ने कहा- ‘मैं डरने वाला नही हूं. अगर यह समझते हैं कि ऐसे आजादी आएगी तो मैं इनको कहना चाहता हूं कि पहले बेगारी, बीमारी और भुखमरी से आजादी पाओ.’

 

400 साधुओं को नपुंसक बनाने के मामले में आज हुई सुनवाई

400 साधुओ को नपुंसक बनाने के मामले में सीबीआई जज कपिल राठी की कोर्ट में आज सुनवाई हुई। इस मामले के मुख्य आरोपी गुरमीत राम रहीम विडिओकोंफ्रेंस से पेश हुए जबकि आरोपी डॉक्टर पंकज गर्ग प्रत्यक्ष रूप से कोर्ट में पेश हूए।

आज इस मामले में गवाहियां शुरू हुईं, मामले में शिक़ायतकर्ता हंसराज की गवाही हुई जो अगली सुनवाई में भी जारी रहेगी।

आज सुनवाई के दौरान राम रहीम ने कोर्ट में बेल एप्लिकेशन लगाई जिस पर 23 अगस्त को सुनवाई की जाएगी।

मामले में आरोपी पंकज गर्ग ने भी विदेश जाने के लिए कोर्ट में इजाज़त मांगी इस पर भी फैसला अगली सुनवाई को होगा।

मुख्य मामले की सुनवाई 4 सितबर को होगी।

बता दें कि फतेहाबाद निवासी हंस राज चौहान की तरफ से दाखिल याचिका में कहा गया था कि डेरे में रहने वाले साधुओं को सब्जबाग दिखाए गए थे कि नपुंसक बनने वाले साधुओं को डेरामुखी गुरमीत राम रहीम सिंह ईश्वर के दर्शन करवाएंगे। आरोप है कि गुरमीत राम रहीम और उसके साथियों ने 400 साधुओं को झांसा देकर नपुंसक बना दिया था। याचिकाकर्ता ने कहा था कि वह भी इन साधुओं में से एक था। उनका जीवन नर्क बन गया है। याची ने कहा था कि वर्ष 1990 से वह डेरे से जुड़ा हुआ था। वर्ष 2000 में ईश्वर के दर्शन करवाने के नाम पर उसके साथ करीब 20 साधुओं को नपुंसक बना दिया गया। इससे उनके शरीर में हारमोनल बदलाव आ गए हैं। लोग उन्हें नपुंसक कहकर छेड़ते हैं।

साधु ने कर ली थी आत्महत्या
याचिका में विनोद कुमार नामक साधु का उदाहरण देकर कहा गया कि विनोद ने सिरसा कोर्ट कांप्लेक्स में आत्महत्या कर ली थी। पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट में सामने आया था कि वह नपुंसक है। याचिका में दावा किया गया है कि इस तरह 400 साधु डेरे में हैं।

इतनी आसानी से इस मामले में सरकार व पुलिस को बचकर नहीं निकलने देगी आआपा 23 अगस्त को होगा जबरदस्त आंदोलन

आम आदमी पार्टी ने कहा है कि जिस तरह से सत्तारुढ़ भाजपा की सरकार व इसके इशारों पर नाचने वाले पुलिस अधिकारी आआपा कार्यकर्ताओं पर झूठे केस बनाकर उन्हें तंग कर रहे हैं, उसका अंजाम उसे आने वाले लोकसभा व आम विधानसभा के चुनावों के दौरान भुगतना पड़ेगा। प्रदेश की जनता सब देख व समझ रही है।आआपा ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा है कि आआपा को हलके से लेने की भूल कतई न करे सरकार। आआपा इस सरकार की ईंट से से ईंट बजाकर रख देगी।  आआपा यमुनानगर के रणजीतपुर पुलिस चौंकी की घटना पर सरकार व जिम्मेवार पुलिस अधिकारियों को इतनी असानी से बचकर नहीं निकलने देगी और उनके किए की सजा उन्हें दिलवाकर रहेगी। और किसी भी सूरत में डीएसपी व चौंकी इंचार्ज की नौकरी से बर्खास्तगी से कम कोई बात नहीं होगी।

आज यहां जारी एक ब्यान में पार्टी के जिला प्रधान योगेश्वर शर्मा ने कहा कि इस घटना को लेकर बनाई गई आआपा  की 4 सदस्य कमेटी ने जांच में पाया कि  यह पुरा मामला 2 युवकों के बीच का आपसी मामला था जिससे बाद में दोनों गांव की  पंचायत ने आपसी सहमती से सुलझा लिया था। लेकिन बाद में थाना प्रभारी ने पंचायत के फैसले को नकारते हुए युवक को हिरासत में लेने की बात कही जिसके बाद थाने में 4 बजे से पहुंची।  पंचायत के सदस्यों व महिलाओं तक को रात तक गुमराह करके चौकी में बैठाये रखा गया।  शर्मा ने कहा कि थाने  में आई रानीपुर गांव की पंचायत के सदस्यों और महिलाओं व बुजुर्गो पर वहां की पुलिस द्वारा बड़ी ही बेशर्मी एवं बेरहमी के साथ लाठीचार्ज किया गया। आआपा के जिला प्रधान योगेशवर शर्मा ने आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि यह पुलिस द्वारा सुनियोजित तरीके से किया गया घिनोना कृत्य है, जो पुलिस के भ्रष्टाचार व भक्षकता को दिखता है ।

योगेश्वर शर्मा ने बताया कि आआपा को गांव वालों ने बताया कि चौकी इंचार्ज सतपाल और उसके सहयोगी आशीष चौधरी  ने रात को 8 बजे सभी रास्ते बंद करवा दिये, नजदीकी थानों से पुलिस को बुलाया गया  और चौकी की लाइट बन्द करके लाठी चार्ज किया गया। वहां बुजुर्ग महिलाए भी मौजूद थी । लेकिन मौके पर महिला पुलिस भी मौजूद नहीं थी। जो पंचायत भाईचारा बनाने के लिए तैयार थी और दोनों पक्षों में समझौता करवा चुकी थी, जबकि इसके उलट पुलिस इस झगड़े को तूल देने की कोशिश कर रही थी। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस का रवैया पूरे प्रकरण में बेहद निराशा जनक व गुंडागर्दी वाला था। इस पूरे मामले में एक बुजुर्ग महिला और एक बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति जिसे पेशाब की नाली लगी है ऐसे लोगों पर पत्थरबाजी में नाम लिखा गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस पूरे मामले में एक और बात निकल कर सामने आई कि आआपा  के नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओ को निशाने पर रखा गया और बर्बरतापूर्ण तरीके से पीटा गया, थर्ड डिग्री का टॉर्चर किया गया  और एक बुजुर्ग महिला का हाथ तक तोड़ दिया गया । बाद में उनका मेडिकल तक नहीं करवाया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि अदालत के निर्देश पर जब आआपा के नेता अमरपाल आर्य का मेडिकल करवाया गया तो एक डाक्टर ने पुलिस के हिसाब से ही उसका मेडिकल कर डाला। ऐसे में अदालत को सूचित किए जाने पर मेडिकल बोर्ड का गठन किया गया। जिसमें जब आर्य का मेडिकल करवाया गया तो डाक्टर भी उसके शरीर के घाव देखकर दंग रह गये कि किस बर्बरता से पुलिस ने उसे थर्ड डिग्री दी थी। जब अमरपाल आर्य को मेडिकल करवाने के लिए अस्पताल लाया गया था तो उसने पत्रकारों के अपने शरीर पर पुलिास द्वारा दिए गये निशान दिखाये तो पुलिस के हाथपांव फूल गये। वे उसे वहां से जबरन घसीट कर ले गये। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस तरह से अमरपाल आर्य को थर्ड डिग्री दिया गया है, उससे तो ऐसा लगता है कि पुलिस उसे जान से मारना चाहती थी। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार इस तरह के औछे हथकंडे अपना कर आआपा के कार्यकर्ताओं को डराना चाहती है लेकिन आआपा कार्यकर्ता क्रांतिकारी है वो जब तक जीवित हैं जनता के हित मुद्दे उठाते रहेंगे। आआपा के जिला प्रधान योगेश्वर शर्मा ने कहा कि इसी मामले को लेकर 23 तारीख  वीरवार को आआपा रानीपुर की  पंचायतों और महिलाओं के हक में यमुनानगर में जबरदस्त प्रदर्शन करने जा रही है। यह प्रदर्शन प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नवीन जयहिंद की अगुवाई  में  किया जायेगा । अगर कभी भी  हरियाणा में जनता के साथ या किसी  आआपा कार्यकर्ता के साथ  अन्याय होगा तो आम आदमी पार्टी इसका पुरजोर विरोध करेगी। क्योंकि आम आदमी पार्टी आम जनता के लिए बनी है , कार्यकर्ताओं से बनी हुई है। उन्होंने कहा कि आआपा इसमे न्यायिक जांच की मांग करती है और सम्बन्धित पुलिस कर्मियों को तुरन्त प्रभाव से बर्खास्त  किया जाए ।

Anil Ambani Issues “Cease & Desist Notice” to Congress Spokesperson

Anil Ambani had written to Rahul Gandhi saying that the Congress has been “misinformed, misdirected and misled” by “malicious vested interests and corporate rivals” on the Rafale deal issue.

Businessman Anil Ambani led Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance Defence and Reliance Aerostructure has sent notices to Congress leaders asking them to behave responsibly while speaking on Rafale deal or face legal action. In a cease and desist notice addressed to Congress Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill, Reliance said that freedom of expression of politicians does not mean that they have a license to behave irresponsibly to suit their interests.

“Freedom of expression and speech should not be mistaken as a license to behave irresponsibly and make false, frivolous, misleading and distorted statements to suit your political interest,” the notice said.

Reliance named other Congress leaders viz Randeep Surjewala, Ashok Chavan, Sanjay Nirupam, Anugrah Narayan Singh. Oommen Chandy, Shaktisinh Gohil, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Sunil Kumar Jakhar and Priyanka Chaturvedi saying that they have been indulging in making incorrect, false, frivolous statements against Reliance.

The notice alleged that Congress leaders are indulging in what appears to be a “vilification campaign” to “deliberately besmirch” the name and reputation of the company for “petty personal and political gains”.

Warning the party members against making such statements, the Reliance group said that it reserves right to take legal recourse for the “protection of their name, brand, reputation and goodwill in case of any scurrilous statements being made against them”.

Reacting to the notice, Jaiveer Shergill said such notices cannot scare him away. “Received “Cease & Desist” Notice from Sh Anil Ambani threatening me with legal consequences if I speak on #RafaleDeal; My reply-I’m a Congress Soldier, a Proud Punjabi who doesn’t get scared with such notices-Tax Payer of this country deserves to know why they paid extra 42000 Cr,” he tweeted on Wednesday.

Anil Ambani had recently written to Congress president Rahul Gandhi on the Rafale fighter jet deal saying his party has been “misinformed, misdirected and misled” by “malicious vested interests and corporate rivals” on the issue.

Congress led by Rahul has been attacking the government for inking the Rafale deal claiming that the contract was signed at a much higher price than the one the previous UPA regime had negotiated. While Rahul has accused the government of changing the deal to benefit “one businessman”, his party has demanded a JPC probe into the deal.

आम आदमी पार्टी अभी अपनों से जूझ रही है. पत्रकार से नेता बने आशुतोष के बाद एक और नेता आशीष खेतान ने पार्टी से इस्तीफा दिया है. आशीष खेतान ने आशुतोष के साथ ही 15 अगस्त को आम आदमी पार्टी से इस्तीफा दे दिया था. आशीष के इस्तीफे के बाद एक बार फिर से आप नेता और कवि कुमार विश्वास ने अपने अंदाज में ही दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री और आम आदमी पार्टी के मुखिया अरविंद के जरीवाल पर तंज कसा है. कुमार विश्वास ने आशीष खेतान के इस्तीफे को एक और आत्मसमर्पित क़ुरबानी का नाम दिया है.

आप नेता कुमार विश्वास ने ट्विटर के माध्यम से एक कविता साझा किया किया है. जिसमें उन्होंने अरविंद केजरीवाल पर निशाना साधा है और यह बताया है. कुमार ने कहा है कि अरविंद केजरीवाल को आसन तक पहुंचाने में सबने योगदान दिया. बता दें कि इससे पहले जब आशुतोष के इस्तीफे की खबर आई थी, तब भी कुमार विश्वास ने अरविंद केजरीवाल पर हमला बोला था.

गौरतलब है कि इस्तीफे की बात पर आशीष खेतान ने ट्वीट कर कहा- मैं अभी पूरी तरह से लीगल प्रैक्टिस पर ध्यान दे रहा हूं और इस वक्त सक्रिय राजनीति में शामिल नहीं हूं. बता दें कि पूर्व पत्रकार और AAP नेता आशीष खेतान 2014 में नई दिल्ली लोकसभा से चुनाव लड़ चुके हैं और दिल्ली सरकार के दिल्ली डायलॉग कमिशन के उपाध्यक्ष रहे हैं. लंबे समय से पार्टी के कामों में शामिल नहीं हो रहे थे. मगर अब वह वकालत के पेशे से जुड़ गए हैं.

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक आशीष दोबारा नई दिल्ली लोकसभा से चुनाव लड़ना चाहते थे, लेकिन पार्टी इसके लिए तैयार नहीं है. पार्टी सूत्रों के मुताबिक नई दिल्ली सीट खाली पड़ी है. सीट कोई मुद्दा नहीं है. वैसे सूत्र बता रहे हैं कि खेतान इस्तीफ़ा दे या ना दें लेकिन फिलहाल वो वैसे भी पार्टी और राजनीति की बजाय लीगल प्रैक्टिस में लगे हैं.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashish Khetan’s posts on social media today uncorked another crisis for Arvind Kejriwal’s party within a week of Ashutosh’s exit. In the posts, Ashish Khetan said he is “not involved in active politics” and had taken the decision after questioning himself for two years.

Ashish Khetan sent his resignation to Mr Kejriwal on August 15 Independence Day, the Press Trust of India quoted sources as saying. Ashutosh resigned the same day citing a “very, very personal reason”.

On Twitter, the 46-year-old left room for speculation by suggesting “extrapolation” and “rumours”.

A Facebook post had a detailed explanation. “For the past two years, I have been plagued with self-doubt and the question of whether I wanted to continue in electoral politics. Early this year I made my decision to quit active politics after much deliberation and in consultation with family and close friends,” said he said, adding that he waited for an “opportune time” to formalize his decision.

He added that his “personal decision” to move away from the party and electoral politics should not be viewed as a reflection on AAP.

Ashish Khetan, an investigative journalist, joined AAP in 2014 and contested the national election from the New Delhi constituency in the capital but lost to the BJP’s Meenakshi Lekhi.

He was appointed vice chairman of the Delhi Dialogue and Development Commission, an advisory body attached to the Delhi Government.

In April, he quit the post, saying he was joining the legal profession. He had also referred to “frustration” because of the tussle between the AAP government and the centre.

PTI quotes sources as saying Ashish Khetan wanted to contest the same seat that he had lost, in the 2019 national election, but the party was reluctant. In his Facebook post, he denied the claims. “The party had graciously asked me to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections but I had politely turned it down. Contesting one more election would have further entrenched me in the world of politics, something I don’t want at this point in time.”

Like Ashutosh, Ashish Khetan was also counted among the closest aides of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and a member of AAP’s top leadership.

Last week, Mr Kejriwal said he would not accept Ashutosh’s resignation and tweeted: “How can we ever accept your resignation? Not in this lifetime.”

But Ashutosh remained firm on his exit. He had announced his resignation in a tweet that took AAP by surprise.

Ashutosh, too, contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and lost. In January, after seven eminent professionals turned down AAP’s offer of Rajya Sabha seats, there was a buzz that the senior journalist was being considered for a slot.

But the party’s final choice – senior leader Sanjay Singh, Delhi-based businessman Sushil Gupta and chartered accountant ND Gupta – reportedly upset several leaders.

Kumar Vishwas, a founder member of the party, had quit the party days later, protesting that he was being “punished for speaking the truth.”

The AAP leadership has changed drastically in the six years since it debuted in Indian politics with the promise of ending corruption. Two other founder members, Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, were expelled in 2015 on charges of indiscipline and anti-party activities.

Congress leader Sharmishtha Mukherjee, in a tweet, suggested that there was something “terribly wrong” within the party. “Within 6 years of forming the party, most of the old guards, founding members of AAP have left. Obviously something is terribly wrong within the party,” she posted.

फंड की कमी से जूझ रही कांग्रेस का बेड़ा पार लगा पाएंगे नए कोषाध्यक्ष अहमद पटेल!

16 साल तक सोनिया गांधी के राजनीतिक सचिव रहे अहमद पटेल राहुल गांधी की टीम में शामिल नहीं थे, कांग्रेस में उनके पास कोई पद नहीं था लेकिन राहुल ने पटेल को कोषाध्यक्ष बना कर बड़ी और महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी दी है

कांग्रेस में अहमद पटेल टीम राहुल में शामिल हो गए हैं. अहमद पटेल ऐसे नेता बन गए हैं जो इंदिरा गांधी के बाद राजीव गांधी-सोनिया गांधी के साथ काम कर चुके है और अब राहुल गांधी के साथ काम करने जा रहें हैं. कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने अहमद पटेल को खजांची (कोषाध्यक्ष) का महत्वपूर्ण पद दिया है. कांग्रेस की परंपरा के मुताबिक कोषाध्यक्ष का पद नंबर दो की हैसियत रखता है. ऐसे में अहमद पटेल अाधिकारिक तौर पर पार्टी में राहुल गांधी के बाद नंबर टू हो गए हैं. हालांकि अभी कल तक उनके भविष्य को लेकर संशय बना हुआ था.

टीम राहुल में अहमद पटेल अभी बिना पद के चल रहे थे. कांग्रेस की वर्किंग कमेटी में जरूर उनको राहुल गांधी ने मनोनीत किया था. लेकिन पार्टी में कोई काम उनके जिम्मे नहीं था. पटेल एक जमाने में सोनिया गांधी के सबसे विश्सनीय सहयोगियों में थे. अहमद पटेल की जबान को सोनिया गांधी की बात समझी जाती थी लेकिन अब ऐसा नहीं है. राहुल गांधी की टीम सब फैसले खुद ही कर रही है. लेकिन अहमद पटेल की इस टीम में शामिल होना उनकी उपयोगिता को साबित करता है.

जन्मदिन पर अहमद पटेल को मिला यह खास तोहफा

21 अगस्त को अहमद पटेल का जन्मदिन भी है. इस दिन राहुल गांधी ने नियुक्ति पत्र जारी किया है. उनके समर्थक कह रहे हैं कि राहुल गांधी की तरफ से तोहफा है. अहमद पटेल के मायूस समर्थक खुश नजर आ रहें हैं. लेकिन पहले की तरह अहमद पटेल ने लाइम लाइट से दूरी बना रखी है. अहमद पटेल को साइलेंट ऑपरेटर के तौर पर देखा जाता है. यही उनकी खूबी है. उनको पता है कि किस से क्या काम लेना है. कांग्रेस के भीतर उनके दोस्त भी है, तो विरोधी भी है. लेकिन अब हालात बदल गए है. कांग्रेस के पास फंड की कमी भी है. पार्टी को एक साल से कम वक्त में आम चुनाव का सामना करना है. इसलिए अहमद पार्टी के लिए बेहतरीन फंड मैनेजर साबित हो सकते हैं.

कांग्रेस को फंड की जरूरत

अहमद पटेल भले ही आधिकारिक तौर पर कोषाध्यक्ष ना रहें हों लेकिन पार्टी का हिसाब किताब उनके जिम्मे ही थी. सप्ताह में एक से दो बार वो निवर्तमान कोषाध्यक्ष मोतीलाल वोरा के साथ बैठकर पार्टी के आर्थिक हालात की समीक्षा करते थे. चुनाव के दौरान ऐसी बैठको का दौर बढ़ जाता था. लेकिन अब ये जिम्मेदारी सीधे उनके कंधों पर है. पार्टी के लिए नरेंद्र मोदी और अमित शाह की जोड़ी के होते हुए पैसा जुटाना आसान काम नहीं है. कॉरपोरेट घराने कांग्रेस से दूरी बनाए हुए हैं, खासकर बड़े घराने अभी कांग्रेस के पाले में नहीं है. बीजेपी अध्यक्ष की पैनी निगाह से बचकर ये काम करना कठिन है. लेकिन यूपीए के दस साल में सोनिया गांधी का दरवाजा अहमद के जरिए ही खुलता था. इसलिए पूराने रिश्ते की बदौलत पटेल कांग्रेस का काम आसान कर सकते हैं.

पटेल पर कोटरी पॉलिटिक्स करने का आरोप

सोनिया गांधी के कार्यकाल में अहमद पटेल पर कोटरी पॉलिटिक्स को बढ़ावा देने का आरोप है.उनके विरोधी कहते है कि जमीनी नेताओं को पार्टी के भीतर हाशिए पर ढधकेलने का काम सोनिया गांधी के राजनीतिक सचिव ने बखूबी अंजाम दिया है. जिसके अहमद पटेल के साथ रिश्ते खराब हुए उसके नंबर पार्टी के भीतर कम हो गए. इसके अलावा अपने लोगों को प्रमोट करने का आरोप भी विरोधी उनके ऊपर लगाते हैं. मसलन भूपेन्द्र सिंह हुड्डा की मनमानी के कारण चौधरी विरेंद्र सिंह और राव इन्द्रजीत समेत कई नेताओं ने पार्टी छोड़ दी. लेकिन हुड्डा का कुछ नहीं बिगड़ सका, क्योंकि उन्हें अहमद का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त था.

महाराष्ट्र में जमीनी नेताओं को दरकिनार करके पृथ्वीराज चह्वाण को मुख्यमंत्री बना दिया गया. इसके अलावा जगन मोहन रेड्डी को पार्टी छोड़ने की वजह भी उन्हीं को बताया गया है. ये सब बानगी भर है. लेकिन अहमद के विरोधी पार्टी के भीतर हाशिए पर जाते रहे, क्योंकि अहमद पटेल की ताकत लगातार बढ़ती रही.

यूपीए के दस साल में सबसे ताकतवर

सोनिया गांधी और मनमोहन सिंह के बाद अगर किसी की चलती थी तो वो अहमद पटेल की चलती थी. उनसे मिलने के लिए कई दिन कैबिनेट मंत्रियों को इंतजार करना पड़ता था. कांग्रेस के मुख्यमंत्री उनसे मिलकर ही अपने आप को धन्य महसूस करते थे. यूपीए सरकार के एक मंत्री बता रहे थे कि अहमद पटेल से मिलने का समय मांगा तो कहा गया कि तीन बजे आ जाओ लेकिन जब वो तीन बजे पहुंचे तो पता चला की सुबह के तीन बजे मिलने का वक्त है. इस तरह से 2007 में अमरोहा में राहुल गांधी के रोड शो के दौरान भीड़ इकट्ठा करने की जिम्मेदारी ऐसे सांसद पर थी, जो कांग्रेस का नहीं था. जाहिर है कि अहमद पटेल की बात टालने की हिम्मत कम ही लोगों में थी.

सरकार चलाने में अहम भूमिका

यूपीए के दस साल के दौरान सहयोगी दलों के साथ रिश्ते मजबूत रखने का काम बखूबी अंजाम दिया है. 2008 में लेफ्ट के समर्थन वापसी के बाद मनमोहन सिंह सरकार को बचाने में अहम किरदार अहमद का ही था. समाजवादी पार्टी को विरोधी से समर्थक बनाने में उनको ज्यादा वक्त नहीं लगा. जिससे सरकार बच गई.

ये बात दूसरी है कि कैश फॉर वोट का इल्जाम लगा लेकिन अहमद पटेल उससे बेदाग निकले. इस घूसकांड का कोई नतीजा तो नहीं निकला लेकिन अमर सिंह और सुधींद्र कुलकर्णी को जेल जरूर जाना पड़ा.

हालांकि उस वक्त कांग्रेस के साथ खड़े समाजवादी पार्टी के पूर्व नेता अमर सिंह अब बीजेपी से रिश्ते बनाने में मशगूल हैं. वहीं बीजेपी के साथ रहे लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी के सहयोगी सुधींद्र कुलकर्णी राहुल गांधी के सबसे बड़े समर्थक के तौर पर दिखाई दे रहें हैं.

गठबंधन के लिए उपयोगी

अहमद पटेल की हर पार्टी में दोस्ती है. बीजेपी में भी उनके दोस्तों की कमी नहीं है. खासकर अमित शाह से पहले वाली बीजेपी में उनके चाहने वालों की कमी नहीं हैं, क्योंकि अहमद पटेल को दोस्ती करना और निभाना भी आता है. क्षेत्रीय दलों के सभी कद्दावर नेता उनके फोन कॉल पर उपलब्ध हैं. समाजवादी पार्टी और बीएसपी दोनों यूपीए की समर्थक ऐसे नहीं थी. ममता बनर्जी से रिश्ते अच्छे हैं. चंद्रबाबू नायडू जब कांग्रेस की राजनीति करते थे तो अहमद पटेल उनके शुभचिंतक में से थे.

कर्नाटक की सरकार बनाने में भी पटेल ने अहम भूमिका निभाई है. एचडी देवगौड़ा को राजी करने का काम उन्होंने ही अंजाम दिया था. हालांकि मेघालय में सरकार बनाने में नाकाम रहे थे. यही हाल मणिपुर में भी हुआ. लेकिन इन सब के बाद भी कांग्रेस में उनके बराबर का राजनीतिक प्रबंधक कोई नहीं है. ये बात उन्होंने पिछले साल राज्यसभा के चुनाव में साबित कर दी थी. जब वो अमित शाह की राजनीतिक व्यूह रचना तोड़कर चुनाव जीतने में कामयाब हो गए थे.

गांधी परिवार से करीबी

अहमद पटेल को राजनीति में आगे बढ़ाने का काम गुजरात के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री माधव सिंह सोलंकी ने किया था. जिसके बाद राजीव गांधी के करीबी हो गए. राजीव गांधी नें उनको 1985 में पार्टी का महासचिव बनाया, फिर 1986 में गुजरात जैसे महत्वपूर्ण राज्य का अध्यक्ष बना दिया गया. सीताराम केसरी की अध्यक्षता में 1996 -2000 तक पटेल कोषाध्यक्ष रहे थे. सीताराम केसरी का साथ छोड़कर सोनिया गांधी के साथ आए, फिर 2001 से 2017 तक उनके राजनीतिक सचिव की हैसियत से काम किया और अब राहुल गांधी के साथ पटेल की पारी का आगाज हो रहा है.

Gateway to drugs ignored by four states in their fight plan

Jammu and Kashmir may have become a virtual gateway to drugs, but its cause to control the malaise is not expected to get help following its exclusion by a group of four other northern states which came together to fight drug menace.

The Chief Ministers of Haryana, Punjab, Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh have reportedly decided to establish a central secretariat at Panchkula to sharing data and monitor steps to meet the challenge of growing drug abuse among the youth.

Many have questioned Jammu and Kashmir has not been included to participate in the drive, claiming that most narcotics are being smuggled to rest of the country from the state.

Drug smuggling has apparently assumed the proportion of narco-terrorism. Narcotics are smuggled into J&K from Pakistan and Afghanistan through mountainous terrain along the Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Although at present there is no elected government in J&K – the state being under Governor’s rule – some representative of the Home Department or the state police could have been included in the joint team to yield better results in fight against drug smuggling.

J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat share international border with Pakistan from where narcotics, it is understood, are being pushed into India.

Besides, smuggling from Pakistan and PoK, high quality charas grown in various parts of Kashmir is also smuggled to rest of the country. Seizure of huge consignments of narcotics recently by the J&K Police and the Narcotics Bureau bear testimony to that. A consignment of narcotics worth about Rs 300 crore was recently seized from a Pakistani truck on a LoC trading centre in Kashmir.

Besides J&K, the Malana valley of Himachal Pradesh is also known to be contributing high grade charas in the drug market, but reports indicate that the charas produced in Anantnag area of south Kashmir has a greater market even in far away city of Mumbai.

The J&K Police, meanwhile, has initiated a drive to manually destroy the poppy plantations in apple orchards at various places. However, it might take a long time to achieve the desired results till mechanical methods are introduced to uproot the plants.
