Amardeep Singh Cheema Appointed Chairman Punjab Health Systems Corporation.

Chandigarh, July 28, 2018 :

Amardeep Singh Cheema ,Senior Youth leader and Former National Vice Chairman of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan(Govt. of India) for two terms has been appointed Chairman of prestigious  Punjab Health Systems Corporation.

Mr.Cheema who is Member of Chief Minister Punjab Chaired Punjab State Board for Drugs De-addiction & Rehabilitation and Member of National Committee for Promotion of Social & Economic Welfare(NCPSEW) Govt. of India has served in many Prestigious Official & Non Official position of State and Govt. of India including Youngest Director on the Board of Worlds largest PSU Insurance Company LIC of India.

His appointment is seen in connection with Anti Drugs Drive started by Captain Amarinder Singh Chief Minister Punjab as Mr.Cheema introduced country first Anti Alcohol & Substances drive funded by Govt. of India In UPA-2 in Punjab & Manipur covering 10 Districts and 3000 Villages in first phase, this campaign was awarded by President of India Sh.Pranab Mukherjee in a special program in Vigyan Bhawan in 2013 on International Anti Drugs Day as Best Campaign in the country.

Mr.cheema belonging to a celebrated Freedom Fighters family of Village Cheema Khuddi (Batala) in District Gurdaspur is son of Veteran Trade Unionist and Permanent Invitee PPCC Mr.M.M.Singh Cheema.

Mr.Cheema introduced women empowerment and Self Employment in Youth when he was serving as Member-GB of Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Mr.Cheema led various international delegations of Govt. of India to United Nations ,China & Malaysia etc. and various other international forums apart from being part of Captain Amarinder Singh led Govt. of Punjab Delegation to Canada and participated in program conducted on the invitation of Prince Charles of United Kingdom.
