Parents won’t accept body of mauled child till the Mayor is booked

Family members of the one-and-a-half-year-old boy who was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs have refused to take possession of the body on the third day too on Tuesday, demanding an FIR against the Mayor, municipal corporation commissioner and other officials of the civic body.

The body is placed in the mortuary of Government Multi-specialty Hospital, Sector 16.

Supported by NGO activist Avinash Singh, Mamta, the mother of the child, and her husband Sunder submitted a complaint at the Sector 19 police station on Tuesday.
