The Marine Academy &  TMC Shipping is to organised Marathon to promote career in Merchant Navy 24th June. TMC Foundation President Neeraj Kumar informed that 25th June is celebrated as International Day of Seafarer .To acknowledge support  of Seafarer on 24th of june 25 km long a grand Marathon  is organised ,which will begin from  TMC office, SCO 270, Sector 14, Panchkula at 5.25 A.M  to Chandigarh& will last at  back at starting venue .  Neeraj informed that there will be four categories of the rally General, seafarers, women, senior citizens. Reporting time will be 24h June 4:00 am, Registration will be done on the spot also .Water and Refreshment will also be arranged for the participants. Bus service will also be available to the starting point.

The Marine Academy Global head Anil Jansi further informed at the Press conference that  First Second and third winner of the winner be honoured with 51,000/-,21000/-& 11,000 respectively for General Category. While seafarers, women, senior citizens have also cash prizes for first three positions. The Purpose of the day is to give thanks to the Seafarer for their contribution to the world economy and civil society as 90% of worlds goods are transports by Seafarer  .Almost everything that we use in daily lives ,directly or indirectly affected by see transport . Without shipping, half the world would starve and the other half would freeze.

He further encouraged youngsters to join Merchant Navy even after completing their schooling as SSC means Status- Salary- Career in Merchant Navy. Many Merchant navy officers will also present at the moment.

Without street lights, it is scary and dangerous to walk at night

Dark streets and hide and seek of power supply have been plaguing the residents of Guru Nanak Nagar in Dhakoli of Zirakpur for past five summers. Complaints to the electricity department also could not bring any relief to the residents till date.

With the announcement of 66 KV project at Baltana, residents had hoped to finally ward off their long-pending problem this season. However, there hopes were dashed as the situation worsened after the work of the new infrastructure started in the area.

The residents said a fire broke out in a transformer three days ago. It was installed just last year. Tthe authorities acted upon it and got it repaired, only after a complaint was placed.

Residents complained the streets of the area generally remains dark due to the defunct streetlights. The commuters do not feel safe going out for a walk after sundown. The unscheduled power cuts also irk the residents making them spend almost four to five hours without electricity daily during the sultry summer season.

When enquired, power department staffers seem clueless about when and how the power supply would be restored.

From past one year the residents of the area are struggling to get the streetlights repaired. They keep on posting complaints but all in vain. Residents alleged that a bunch of wires is spread all over the area which is not only posing threat to their lives, but is also affecting the power supply in the area.

In fact, the poles installed in the area are tilted. A transformer here is also in bad shape. It has not been repaired by the department even after a number of reminders.

N S Rangi, executive engineer, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) said the department resolved the problem of fluctuation immediately after a complaint was received. The maintenance of the transformers is also on our priority.

Chandimandir Cantonment alarmed by rise in theft cases

The Chandimandir Cantonment, headquarters of the Western Command, is considered one of the most important Army installations in the country, but of late it has come under a threat of another kind —theft. Four burglaries have been reported at the heavily-guarded military installation abutting Panchkula since March.

The latest case was reported on Sunday evening, when Naik Rinku (29) returned home from a family outing at Chhatbir Zoo to find the locks of his house’s front door broken and all rooms ransacked. Rinku, who lives in Sector E of the cantonment, claims to have lost Rs 2,500 and gold bangles worth Rs 1.28 lakh in the theft.

While roads of all cantonments were thrown open on May 23, thefts have taken place at Chandimandir before this also. The rise in thefts is expected to raise eyebrows as such Army installations are usually considered safe when it comes to crime. In Naik Rinku’s case, the family left home around 12.30pm and the theft had been committed by the time they returned around 5pm.

The valuables had been kept in an almirah in his bedroom, and the thieves had broken its locks open to get to the valuables. Except for the gold and cash, all electronics were untouched. Before this, thieves broke into a CSD canteen at the cantonment at night. At that time, the thieves decamped with costly cosmetics and did not steal anything else.

As there are restrictions on cops investigating into crimes committed at the Army base, no accused have been identified in any of the cases.

The station house officer (SHO) of Chandimandir police station, inspector Suresh Kumar, said he had sought a meeting with the Army officer concerned to discuss the “serious matter”. “But I have not got a reply from cantonment officials so far,” he said.

Before the May 23 theft at the CSD canteen, a luxury bicycle of a Colonel-rank officer at the cantonment was stolen on April 9. The theft took place near the CSD canteen. On March 26, three houses were burgled in Sector-E and Sector-D of the cantonment.

A case under sections 454 (house-trespass to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 380 (theft in dwelling house) of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) has been registered at Chandimandir police station in connection with theft at Naik Rinku’s house. Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Dhoom Singh, the investigation officer, said they were carrying out an investigation. However, no accused has been identified yet.

 

समृति ईरानी ने किया योग और खेर रही फोन पर

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस भारत सहित विश्वभर में बड़े धूमधाम से मनाया गया. चंडीगढ़ में भी अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर ऐसा आय़ोजन किया. मंत्रियों, सांसदों और नेताओं सहित कई लोगों ने इसमे बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया. चंडीगढ़ के सरकारी कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल हुईं केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी मंच से नीचे आकर जमीन पर लगे मैट पर योग करती दिखी. हालांकि चंडीगढ़ की सांसद किरण खेर मंच पर मौजूद थीं और लगातार अपने मोबाइल फोन में व्यस्त दिखीं.

चंडीगढ़ के सेक्टर-17 में आयोजित योग कार्यक्रम में लोगों ने बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लिया. योग दिवस को लेकर चंडीगढ़ से स्थानीय लोगों में योग को लेकर काफी उत्साह भी देखने को मिला.

योग कार्यक्रम में सबसे पहले सेक्टर 17 में लगी बड़ी स्क्रीन में लोगों को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की स्पीच दिखाई गई और उसके बाद लोगों ने योगाभ्यास शुरु किया.

चंडीगढ़ के विभिन्न सेक्टर्स के पार्कों में भी ऐसे आयोजन करवाए गए. सुबह 5 बजे से ही लोग आयोजन स्थल पर पहुंचना शुरु हो गए थे और करीब 6 बजे इसका आगाज हुआ. इस दौरान लोगों ने योगा के विभिन्न आसनों को एक साथ किया.

पंजाब में विधायक महफूज नहीं है तो कोई भी महफूज नहीं : सुखपाल खैहरा

पंजाब आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता और नेता प्रतिपक्ष  ने गुरूवार को यहां कहा कि यदि पंजाब में विधायक महफूज नहीं है तो कोई भी महफूज नहीं है।

खैहरा यहां पीजीआई में दाखिल कराए गए पार्टी के विधायक अमरजीत संदोआ से मिलने पहुंचे थे। रोपड से विधायक संदोआ को अवैध माइनिंग माफिया ने गुरूवार को ही हमला कर गंभीर घायल कर दिया था। पीजीआई परिसर में पत्रकारों से बातचीत में खैहरा ने कहा कि पंजाब में पिछली अकाली-भाजपा गठबंधन सरकार के दौरान फला-फूला माइनिंग माफिया आज कांग्रेस सरकार के दौरान भी ठीक वैसे ही काम कर रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि रोपड विधायक ने अपने करीब के अवैध माइनिंग को पत्रकारों को दिखाने का प्रयास किया तो उन्हें हमलाकर घायल कर दिया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि रोपड ही नहीं पठानकोट,अमृतसर के अजनाला और खरड इलाके में भी अवैध माइनिंग की जा रही है। कांग्रेस की मौजूदा सरकार अवैध माइनिंग को रोकने के लिए कोई कदम नहीं उठा रही।

खैहरा ने कहा कि विधायक संदोआ पर हमला करने वाले सभी जाने-पहचाने है। घटना का वीडियो बनाया गया है। विधायक के सहयोगी जसपाल सिंह पाली का कहना है कि सभी हमलावर वीडियो में साफ दिखाई दे रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि इन हमलावरों के खिलाफ तो सख्त कार्रवाई होना ही चाहिए लेकिन विधायक ने हमले की साजिश में एक कांग्रेस नेता का नाम भी बताया है। इस नेता के खिलाफ भी साजिश रचने की दंड सहिता की धाराओं के तहत कार्रवाई होना चाहिए।

उन्होंने कहा कि पंजाब में न्याय चुन-चुनकर दिया जाता है। जब युवक कांग्रेस नेता के साथ धुरी में पुलिस अधिकारी धक्का-मुक्की करता है तो तुरन्त कार्रवाई की जाती है लेकिन यदि कोई और न्याय की पुकार करता है तो कोई सुनवाई नहीं की जाती। उन्होंने कहा कि विधायक संदोआ पर हमले के मामले में कार्रवाई के लिए मुख्यमंत्री ओर राज्यपाल से मिलेंगे। इसके अलावा रोपड के उपायुक्त व वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक के कार्यालय पर भी धरना दिया जाएगा।

कबीर जयंती राज्योत्सव की तरह मनाया जाएगा : विज

हरियाणा के स्वास्थ्य एवं खेल मंत्री श्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि राज्य में कबीर जयंती 28 जून को सरकारी तौर पर उत्सव की तरह मनायी जाएगी। इससे लोगों को महापुरूषों के जीवन से प्रेरणा मिलने में सहायता मिलेगी।

श्री विज ने कहा कि महापुरूषों के जीवन से जनता को उनके इतिहास तथा संस्कृति की जानकारी प्राप्त होती है और व्यक्ति को आगे बढऩे का अवसर मिलता है। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज के महापुरूषें ने अपने जीवन की दिव्यता से समाज उत्थान में नया जोश भरने का काम किया है, जिसके लिए देश उनका हमेशा ऋणी रहेगा।

खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य के सभी 22 जिलों तथा पहली बार 140 खंडों में योग दिवस को सरकारी तौर पर मनाया गया, इसके अलावा सामाजिक संगठनों तथा एनजीओ  के कार्यकर्ताओं ने भी योग के कार्यक्रमों में बढ़चढ़ कर भाग लिया। इसके साथ ही आज प्रदेश के सभी जिलों, शहरों, कस्बों, गलि-मौहलों तथा पार्कों में योग दिवस का धूमधाम से मनाया गया।

उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार के ब्रांड एम्बेसडर स्वामी रामदेव का स्थान सरकारी हार्डिंग एवं अन्य प्रचार साधनों में विशेष तौर रहा है, जिनके योगदान को सरकार कभी नही भुला सकती है। वैसे भी स्वामी रामदेव विश्व विख्यात योग के पर्याय है, इसलिए वे किसी भी हार्डिंग पर नाम के मोहताज नही है लेकिन हमारी सरकार उनका पूरा सम्मान कर रही है।

श्री विज ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अशोक तंवर हमारी सरकार की क्या चार्जशीट तैयार करवाएंगे, उनकी चार्जशीट तो जनता और उनके कांग्रेसी प्रतिद्वंदी  ही तैयार कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सरकार जनभावनाओं के अनुकूल काम कर रही है और तवंर को अपनी पार्टी को सुरक्षित रखने की चिंता करनी चाहिए।

हरियाणा के खिलाडियों को जल्द मिलेगी नौकरी : विज

आस्ट्रेलिया के गोल्ड कोस्ट में हुए कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में देश के लिए मेडल जीतकर आये हरियाणा के 22 खिलाड़ियों को अभी भी सरकार से पुरस्कार रूपी शाबाशी का इंतजार है। खिलाड़ियों को सम्मानित करने के लिए रखा गया कार्यक्रम रद्द होने के बाद सरकार अभी तक ईनाम राशि को लेकर कोई ठोस फैसला नहीं ले पाई है। आगे भी खेलों के पुरस्कारों को लेकर सरकार ने कुछ प्लानिंग की थी। जिसके बाद से सरकार लगातार विपक्ष के निशाने पर है।

सभी विवादों पर विराम लगाने के लिए अब हरियाणा के खेल मंत्री अनिल विज ने मुख्यमंत्री को एक प्रस्ताव बनाकर भेजा है। जिसमें विज ने खेल नीति में कुछ सुधार करने की वकालत की है। उम्मीद है जल्दी ही खिलाड़ियों का इंतजार खत्म होगा। इस मुद्दे पर पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब देते हुए खेल मंत्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि खिलाड़ियों की अच्छाई के लिए हम नियमित काम करते रहते हैं। खेल नीति में संशोधन के लिए मुख्यमंत्री को प्रस्ताव भेजा गया है। हमारी खेल नीति में ईनाम देने के लिए, क्वालीफाई करने के लिए दो नियम थे एक तो हरियाणा का डोमिसाइल होना चाहिए और दूसरा हरियाणा की तरफ से खिलाड़ी नेशनल गेम्स में खेला होना चाहिए। इसी से थोड़ा कुछ खिलाड़ियों का ऑब्जेक्शन आ रहा था तो इसके बाद हरियाणा की तरफ से खिलाड़ी नेशनल गेम्स खेला होना चाहिए वाले क्लॉज को हटाने का प्रस्ताव मुख्यमंत्री को भेजा है। उम्मीद है मुख्यमंत्री जी इसे स्वीकृति प्रदान करते हुए इसे कैबिनेट से अप्रूव करवाएंगे।

हॉकी खिलाड़ियों समेत अन्य कई खिलाड़ियों को अभी तक नौकरी न दिए जाने के सवाल का जवाब देते हुए खेल मंत्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि आने वाले समय मे बहुत से खिलाड़ियों को सरकार नौकरी देने जा रही है। इसकी नोटिफिकेशन जल्दी ही होने जा रही है। खेलों के क्षेत्र में बड़े बदलाव होने जा रहे हैं।

बालिका आश्रम की बच्चियाँ चंडीगढ़ में मिलीं

बुधवार को शिमला के टूटीकंडी बालिका आश्रम की रहस्यमयी परिस्थितियों में लापाता हुई तीन नाबालिग छात्राएं को चंडीगढ़ ISBT 43 बसस्टैँड में मिल गई हैं। लड़कियों के लापाता होने की सूचना शिमला एसपी ने चंडीगढ़ पुलिस को दी थी और उनके फोटो भी भेज दिए थे। जिसके बाद चंडीगढ़ पुलिस ने इन लड़कियों को चंडीगढ़ पुलिस ने ढूंढ निकाला। तीनों लड़कियों के मिलने बाद चंड़ीगढ़ पुलिस ने शिमला पुलिस को सूचित किया जिसके बाद लड़कियों को शिमला पुलिस के सुपुर्द कर दिया। बताया जा रहा है कि तीनों लड़कियां मनाली घुमने के लिए निकली थीं।

 

गौरतलब है कि बुधवार सुबह तीनों छात्राएं आश्रम से स्कूल के लिए निकली थी, मगर स्कूल नहीं पहुंची और न ही वापस आश्रम लौटी थीं। ये छात्राएं तीनों टूटीकंडी आईएसबीटी के साथ स्थित सरकारी स्कूल में पढ़ती हैं। स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल ने छात्राओं के स्कूल न पहुंचने की आश्रम में सूचना दी। सूचना के बाद आश्रम की ओर से बालूगंज पुलिस थाना में शिकायत दी गई थी। शिकायत के बाद पुलिस ने नाबालिग छात्राओं के रहस्यमयी परिस्थिति में लापता होने के मामले में किडनैपिंग का केस दर्ज छानबीन शुरू कर दी थी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट की गाइडलाइन के मुताबिक नाबालिग बच्चों के लापता होने के मामले में 363 आईपीसी यानि किडनैपिंग का केस दर्ज किया जाता है। लापता छात्राएं नवीं और दसवीं में पढ़ती हैं। एक छात्रा नेपाल की हैं और अन्य दो हिमाचल के सोलन और मंडी की बताई जा रही हैं।

हनी ट्रैप में फंसे व्यक्ति को हरियां पुलिस ने बचाया, पकड़े आरोपी

हरियाणा पुलिस की अपराध षाखा ने सराहनीय कार्य करते हुए हनी ट्रप में लोगो को फंसाने वाले गिरोह की एक महिला सहित चार आरोपियों को फरीदाबाद से गिरफ्तार करने में सफलता हासिल की है।

पुलिस विभाग के एक प्रवक्ता ने आज यहां यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि गिरोह के सदस्य शिकायतकर्ता को बलात्कार के झूठे मामले में फसाने की धमकी देकर 5 लाख रुपये की मांग कर रहे थे।

षिकायतकर्ता के पास करीब 20-25 दिन पहले एक अनजान नंबर से एक लड़की का फोन आया जिसने अपना पेशा प्रॉपर्टी डीलर बताया। शिकायतकर्ता को लगातार कॉल करके जाल में फंसाया जा रह था। 16 जून 2018 को शिकायतकर्ता को सस्ती प्रॉपर्टी दिलाने के बहाने से आरोपी महिला रिसोर्ट में ले गई वहां शिकायतकर्ता के साथ मेलजोल बढ़ाने की कोशिश की। जिस पर शिकायतकर्ता के कहने पर दोनों वहां से खाना खाकर वापस चले गए।

अगले दिन आरोपी महिला के साथी ने शिकायतकर्ता को कॉल करके कहा जल्दी थाना सेक्टर-37 आ जाओ वरना बलात्कार के केस में अंदर चले जाओगे। जब शिकायतकर्ता थाना पहुंचा तो उक्त महिला व उसके दोस्तों ने शिकायतकर्ता को सेक्टर-37 थाना के सामने ले जाकर झूठे बलात्कार के केस में फंसाने की धमकी देकर 5 लाख रुपये की डिमांड की।

झूठे मुकदमे में फंसने के डर से शिकायतकर्ता ने 50,000 रुपये तुरंत आरोपियों को दे दिए और बाकी पैसों के लिए चार-पांच दिन का टाइम ले लिया। उसके बाद आरोपियों द्वारा लगातार शिकायतकर्ता को फोन करके डराया गया और पैसों की मांग की गई।

षिकायतकर्ता ने पुलिस को जानकारी देने के बाद थाना सराय ख्वाजा में मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया। क्राईम ब्रांच एन.आई.टी ने कार्यवाही करते हुए 4 आरोपियों को काबू करने में सफलता हासिल की। कुछ आरोपी अभी फरार है उन्हें भी जल्द ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा

उन्होने बताया कि आरोपियों में से एक आरोपी क्राउन इंटीरियर मॉल सेक्टर 37 में सपा सेंटर चलाता है, जिसने ऑल इंडिया क्राइम एंटी करप्शन ऑर्गनाइजेशन के नाम से आई. कार्ड भी बनाया हुआ है। इससे पहले भी उन्होंने हनी ट्रेप के दो अन्य शिकार सूरजकुंड व दिल्ली में भी बनाए हैं।
