ChandigarhPrime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that ‘National Start-up Day’ will be celebrated every year on 16 January in the country, KS Bhatia of Chandigarh’s biggest and successful startup Pumpkart appreciated this unprecedented effort. KS Bhatia announced a funding of 2 crores for any young innovator from Chandigarh for a new startup, Bhatia said that when he started, there was no support from anywhere, so he took this opportunity to help the youth in startup. Announced funding of up to ₹2 crore to encourage budding innovations.

 Today PM Modi made this announcement during his interaction with startup entrepreneurs. During this, he said that I congratulate all those startups of the country, all the innovative youth, who are raising the flag of India in the world of startups. For this culture of startups reaches far-flung parts of the country, it has been decided to celebrate 16 January as National Startup Day.
