ट्रैफिक पुलिस पचंकूला नें परिवहन विभाग के साथ ट्रैफिक के नियमों की पालना करनें बारे की नाटक से प्रस्तुति

                       परिवहन विभाग के सहयोग से पुलिस विभाग के सानिध्य में आर टी ए अमरेन्द्र सिंह की मार्गदर्शन में आज वाहन पासिंग ऐरिया पंचकूला में नाटक यमराज जीवन दान योजना डाट काम का मंचन एवं विमर्श का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत करते हुए यातायात प्रबन्धक सुखबीर ने कहा कि सड़क पर हमारा अभद्र व्यवहार ही बडे़ से बडे़ हादसे को बुलावा देता है। यदि हम सड़क के नियमों का सजगता से पालन करें तो आने वाली दुर्घटनाओं से बचा जा सकता है ।  कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए संस्कृतकर्मी राजीव रंजन ने कहा कि अब समय आ गया है जब लोगों को यातायात के नियमों का पालन कोई कानून समझकर नहीं करना चाहिए जब समाज इन कानूनों को व्यवहार में लागू करेगा तभी आने वाला समय दुर्घटनामुक्त समय होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि नाटक एक ऐसी विधा है जिसमें हर वर्ग के लोगों तक आसानी से अपनी बात पहुंचाने का एक बेहतरीन माध्यम है। 

इस कार्यक्रम में अपने विचार व्यक्त करते हुए परिवहन विभाग के सहायक सचिव मुकेश सहरावत ने कहा कि सड़क संस्कार यात्रा नहीं बल्कि जीवन बचाने की यात्रा है। जिसमें नाटक के माध्यम से नवजागरण का प्रयास किया जा रहा है क्योंकि नाटक नवजागरण का सशक्त माध्यम है। नाटक यमराज के माध्यम से लोगों को यह जागरूक करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है कि यदि कोई एक व्यक्ति हादसे का शिकार होता है इससे सिर्फ उसकी व्यक्तिगत क्षति ही नहीं होती बल्कि इससे हमारे सामाजिक तथा आर्थिक क्षति भी होती है। नाटक यमराज लोगों से यह अपील करता है कि वाहन चलाते समय सीट बेल्ट का प्रयोग करें, वाहन चलाते समय मोबाइल फोन पर बातें न करें। बाइक चलाते समय हेलमेट का प्रयोग अवश्य करें, क्योंकि आपका जीवन बहुत ही अनमोल है ।

  शहर के नोहर रोड स्थित जनता कन्या स्नातकोतर महाविद्यालय की छात्राओं द्वारा गांव किशनपुरा में लगाये जा रहे राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना के अंतर्गत सात दिवसीय शिविर के पांचवें दिन जागरुकता संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें साहित्यकार विनोद विक्टर व टीम मिशन ग्रीन के संस्थापक सुभाष प्रेमी बतौर मुख्यातिथि उपस्थित हुए। इस मौके पर एन.एस.एस. शिविर की कार्यक्रम अधिकारी माया सिहाग ने अतिथियों को स्वागत किया। संगोष्ठी में टीम मिशन ग्रीन के संस्थापक सुभाष प्रेमी ने बताया कि हमें पर्यावरण को बचाने के लिए अधिक से अधिक पौधारोपण करना चाहिए क्योंकि आज पर्यावरण प्रदूषित हो रहा है क्योंकि पेड़ों की कटाई हो रही है ओर पेड़ लगाए नही जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने छात्राओं से आग्रह किया कि वे न केवल पेड़ लगाए बल्कि उनकी सार संभाल भी करें ताकि आने वाले समय में आप के द्वारा लगाया गया छोटा सा पौधा एक बड़ा पेड बन सके। इस मौके पर साहित्कार विनोद विक्टर ने भी कुछ प्रेरक कहानियों के साथ मोटीवेशनल व्यख्यान दिया। जिसमें उन्होंने आसानी से लड़ाई झगड़े समाप्त करने के उपाय, खुद को योग्य बनने के लिए टिप्स, किसी भी चीज को ग्रहण करने का तरीका,व्यवसाय को शौक बनाने के लाभ, आगे बढने के लिए लक्ष्य निर्धारित करने का तरीका, सही दिशा में प्रयास व सपने देखने के फायदे बताए। उन्होंने स्वयं सेविकाओं छात्राओं को अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर आगे बढने के लिए प्रेरित भी किया। इस मौके पर एन. एस. एस. कार्यक्रम अधिकारी माया सिहाग ने छात्राओं से कहा कि सही दिशा में किया गया प्रयास कभी बेकार नहीं जाता है इसलिए हमें अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित करना चाहिए ओर उसे प्राप्त करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत करनी चाहिए। इस कार्यक्रम के बाद स्वयं सेविकाओं द्वारा कालेज प्रांगण में श्रमदान किया गया ओर कालेज प्रांगण की साफ सफाई की ओर पौधों को पानी भी दिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में मुख्यातिथियों को स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

कोरोना वैक्सीन लगवाने से ही समाज बनेगा कोरोना मुक्त: सुनील बामनिया

कंबोज धर्मशाला में लगाया टीकाकरण शिविर, 100 लोगोंं ने लगवाई वैक्सीन

 कोविड-19 के चलते भाजपा द्वारा चलाए गए कोरोना टीकाकरण जग जागरण अभियान के तहत आज मंडल प्रमुख भोजराज गुर्जर की अध्यक्षता में जिला स्वास्थ्य विभाग सिरसा की टीम द्वारा कंबोज धर्मशाला में वार्डवासियों व आसपास के लोगों को कोविड वैक्सीन लगाई गई। इस अवसर पर भाजपा के जिला महामंत्री अमन चौपड़ा मुख्य रूप से पहुंचे। इस अवसर पर पार्षद प्रतिनिधि सुनील बामनिया ने कहा कि कोरोना वायरस से बचने का एकमात्र इलाज कोरोना टीकाकरण है, जिसे समाज के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को लगवाना चाहिए। अमन चौपड़ा ने कहा कि कोरोना वैक्सीन को लेकर समाज में तरह तरह की भ्रांतिया फैलाई जा रही है, जोकि गलत है। ऐसी भ्रांंतियों से दूर होकर सभी को कोरोना की वैक्सीन लगवानी चाहिए।  इस दौरान रतनलाल बामनिया, सागर बजाज, श्याम भारती, कृष्ण लाड़वाल, गोल्डी बजाज, कृष्ण मेहता, पार्षद नारायणपाल, साहिल खन्ना, मोनू, राजेश, दयाल गुर्जर भी मौजूद थे। नागरिक अस्पताल से एमओ डॉ. अनिता अरोड़ा, एएनएम रूकमा देवी, राजन, सुखबीर, एमपीएचडब्लयू ममता व रूकमा, आशा वर्कर रेखा की टीम ने करीब 100 लोगों को कोरोना वैक्सीन लगाई, जबकि दूसरी डोज 28 दिन बाद लगाई जाएगी।

नशे के खिलाफ कार्यक्रम में सम्मानित हुए संस्था के पदाधिकारी

 नशे के खिलाफ शहर मेंं निकाली गई साईकिल व जोगिंग रैली में फॉरेवर लाइफ फाउंडेशन की कार्यकारिणी को सम्मानित किया गया है। जींद से सिरसा पहुंचे फाउंडेशन के सभी सदस्यों ने नशे के खिलाफ अनूठा संदेश दिया व समाजहित में संस्था द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों का उल्लेख प्रस्तुत किया। संस्था पदाधिकारियों के कार्यों की भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की गई। एएसपी नितिश अग्रवाल ने संस्था पदाधिकारियों को सम्मानित भी किया। काबिलेगौर है कि संस्था सामाजिक सरोकारों से जुड़ी हुई है और गरीब, बेसहारा,जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए समय-समय पर मदद भी करती रहती है।

UIFT’S Second Alumni Lecture : “Startup As A Fashion Influencer”

            Second lecture series ‘Learn the ropes with alumni’ was held today at University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development(UIFT &VD),  Panjab University Chandigarh with Mohini popularly known as Styled by Mohini, an Instagram Influencer and a YouTuber.  She pursued her graduation and post-graduation in Fashion and Lifestyle Technology from UIFT, PU and creates content on Fashion, Beauty, Travel and Lifestyle. After completing her Masters, she is a full-time content creator with 22,000 followers on Instagram.

            She shared her journey with the students, the main focus was to motivate them so that they can also start their own business even in a non-conventional field like content creation. She started with fashion styling videos and then slowly expanded her horizon to different genres and then added beauty, travel and lifestyle as well. She spoke about her series called “#TalkWithM” in which she gives motivational talks about different topics, her interviews with various doctors for spreading awareness about women health on her YouTube channel, her latest series about creating outfits from scratch and her styling projects that she undertook with wow womania and many other projects. She also elaborated that how she works in collaboration with many leading brands like Nykaa, Maybelline, L’Oreal, Revlon, Urbanic, Derma co., Mcaffine, Kalki fashion, Plum goodness etc. 

            According to Mohini “Consistency and hard work are the key to success”. Her journey inspired and motivated many participants to think about startups in line of their interest. Appreciating hard work and dedication of Mohini, Dr Anu H. Gupta, Chairperson UIFT & VD remarked that Passion of an individual if pursued consistently can create wonders and lead to successful startups.

            Around 70 students joined her webinar. She spoke about “Startup as a Fashion Influencer” to the current students of the department.

RashtriyaVayoshri Yojana (RVY): Outlay for 2021-22

Panchkula March 16:          

                           Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. Rattan LalKatariahas submitted a statement in the Parliament with reference to the RashtriyaVayoshri Yojana (RVY) in the country.The statement was submitted in reply to theunstarred questions raised in Lok Sabha. RVY scheme was launched in 2017 for providing Physical Aids and Assisted-living Devices for Senior citizens belonging to BPL category.

Sh. Rattan Lal Kattariahighlighted that the total number of distribution camps organised under the scheme during the last four years (including current year)are 175. He further stated that the scheme in these 4 years has benefitted 1,64,888 senior citizens spread across 28 states and 8 Union Territories. The cumulative expense incurred duringthis period for providing these aids and assisted living devices amounts to Rs. 106.98 crores.

Mr. Kataria added that the estimated expenditure for the scheme during the financial year 2021-22 is Rs. 50 crore, which is almost 3 times compared to the estimated expenditure in FY20-21. He further added that though RVY camps were postponed during the coronavirus pandemic for ensuring safety of beneficiaries, however camps have resumed w.e.f. 19.11.2020 and are being held by following COVID-19 related safety measures.

Initiatives to improve standard of living of child beggars and fund allocation to NGOs working for helpless women and children

                                            Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. Rattan Lal Kataria has submitted a statement in the Parliament with reference to the schemes working for the safety and welfare of child beggars.The statement was submitted in reply to the questions raised by multiple other member counterparts. Mr. Kataria also responded to questions pertaining to the allocation of funds to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)(State/Organisation-wise) working for helpless women and children during the last five years.

Mr. Kataria pointed out that as per the Census 2011, the total number of beggars, vagrants etc. in India are 4,13,670 and the total number of child beggars, vagrants etc. below 15 years of age are 45,296. Highlighting the efforts being made by the Government in improving their standard of living, he stated that theMinistry of Social Justice and Empowerment has identified ten cities namely  Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Patna for undertaking pilot project on ‘Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Persons engaged in the act of Begging’ to provide whole range of services including awareness generation, identification, rehabilitation, provision of medical facilities, counselling skill development, sustainable settlement and education to children engaged in Begging/ Children of Persons engaged in begging.

Mr. Kataria further elucidated that the Ministry of Women and Child Development administers the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 (JJ Act) which is the primary law for children in the country. The Act, he explained, provides a security net of service delivery structures along with measures for institutional and non-institutional care, to ensure comprehensive well-being of children in distress situations andprimary responsibility of execution of the Act rests with the States/UTs.

Mr. Kataria went on to explain that Ministry of Women and Child Development implements a centrally sponsored scheme i.e. Child Protection Services (CPS) under the umbrella Integrated Child Development Services scheme, for supporting the children in difficult circumstances including child beggars and destitute children. Under the scheme, institutional care is provided through Child Care Institutions (CCIs), as a rehabilitative measure. The programmes and activities in CCIs inter-alia include age-appropriate education, access to vocational training, recreation, health care, counselling etc. The scheme supports 24×7 emergency outreach/helpline service for children in distress conditions and the service is accessible through a dedicated toll-free number, 1098 from anywhere in India.

The scheme inter-alia has provided financial assistance for setting up of CCIs to the States/UTs either by themselves or in association with voluntary organisations. Mr. Kataria stated that funds worth Rs. 2952.08 crores have been released during last five years (i.e. F.Y., 2015-16 to 2019-20)to the States/UTs under CPS.

Workshop 2021 at UIET, PU

            Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, University Institute of Engineering and Technology(UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with Govt. College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu, organized a TEQIP-III Sponsored Online Curriculum Revision Workshop-2021 under the guidance of Dr. Subhash Chander Dubey, Nodal Officer TEQIP-III, GCET, Jammu . Dr. Naresh Kumar, Coordinator (ECE) informed that the objective of this informed that of this workshop was to upgrade the curriculum of the department in accordance with AICTE recommendations and NEP2020 guidelines. Subject expert from IITs, NITs, CSIO, SCL, Qualcomm and other premier institutes across India were invited.

            The Chief Guest of the inaugural session, Prof J. K. Goswamy, Director, UIET, emphasised on industrial innovation, entrepreneurship skill development, research focus on global issues, improvement of innovation skills of students and use of science and technology for solving the real life problems. He entitled the workshop as ‘Sagarmanthan: process of churning the curriculum’. He also stressed upon the need of value based education so as to develop an individual’s personality with lifelong learning attitude. Further, the Chief Guest congratulated the organizing team for the organising such an event.

            In view to have a focused discussion, the subjects of B. E. (ECE), M. E. (ECE) and M. Tech. (Microelectronics) were divided into the four groups and session wise discussion was carried out.

            Session-1 included discussion on subjects related to Signal Processing. It was chaired by Prof. Renu Vig, she focused on the need to have flexible curriculum. Prof. Amod Kumar, Dept. of ECE, NITTTR Chandigarh, Prof. B. S. Saini, Dept. of ECE, NIT Jalandhar along with alumni Ms. Vartika, TCS Research joined as the experts for this session. Mr. Sumit Budhiraja and Dr. Gurpreet convened this session. In this group experts suggested to include subjects such as Robotics, AI and IOT in the curriculum. Experts also insisted on adding same practical examples and case studies within the syllabus.

            Session-2 focused on subjects of Communication Systems. It was chaired by Prof. Sunil Agrawal. The subject experts for the session were Prof. M. L. Singh, Dept. of ECE, GNDU Amritsar, Dr. S. S. Saini, CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh along with the Alumni Dr. Ribhu, IIT Guwahati. Ms. Preeti Gupta and Ms. Harvinder carefully noted the feedback given by the experts. It was a very insightful conversation and the inclusion of latest 5G communication technology was suggested by the panel.

            Session-3 concentrated on Digital Circuits and Systems. It was chaired by Ms. Sharmelee Thangjam.  Prof. Brajesh Kumar Kaushik, Dept. of ECE, IIT Roorkee, Dr. Arvind Kumar, Dept. of ECE, NIT Kurukshatra along with alumni Mr. Prachir Puri, Qualcomm participated in the discussion. Dr. Nidhi Garg and Dr. Pardeep Kaur managed the session. An insight on the industry requirements in order to improve employability of students was kept in view and accordingly suggested changes in the current curriculum were proposed.

            Session-4 discussed Electronic Devices and Circuits related subjects. It was chaired by Dr. Arvind Kumar, UIET while Mr. Vijay Kumar briefed the syllabi in front of panel of experts. Dr. H. S. Jatana, Scientist, SCL-ISRO, Mohali, Dr. Balwinder Singh, Joint Director and Head ACSD, CDAC Mohali, and alumni Dr. Swasti from IIT Bombay participated in the detailed discussion. They gave vision on the semiconductor industry requirements and accordingly suggested changes in the current curriculum.

            The event has witnessed an enthusiastic response with more than thirty participants in each session. The proceedings of workshop were convened by E Dr. Charu Madhu, Er. Ajay Abrol, and Dr. Garima Joshi.

Arrest in Theft

Mani R/o # 910 vikash nagar Maulijagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant one Gold Chain, two Gold Ear Ring, two Nose Pin, 12 Finger Gold RingaAnd one Pair Silver Payal from his house on 15-03.2021. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Mouli jagran, Chandigarh. Later on accused namely Vikas Kumar R/o # 320 Village- Daria, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant head phone and purse containing D/L, pan card and cash Rs 3000/- from  storage box  of her Scooty near Gurudwara Sahib, Sector-8 Chandigarh on 15.03.2021. A case FIR No. 25, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Karan Kalia R/o 1470/A sector-41/B Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant two watch, led tv, shoes from his house on 15.03.2021 by breaking the lock. A case FIR No. 71, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

         Kapil R/o # 613 Block No. 5 Govind nagar, Nayagaon (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa No. PB-65R-0769 from PU, Sector-14, Chandigarh on 05.03.2021. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested with fake number plate

Chandigarh Police arrested Manish R/o # 1251, sector 52, Chandigarh aged 20 years, while he was using fake Registration No. CH-03K-6639 on  Zen Car, whose Original number is CH-03Q-9918, from under bridge sector-11/15 dividing road, Chandigarh on 15.03.2021. In this regard, a case FIR No. 36, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS- 11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A girl R/o Sector-20, Chandigarh reported that 3 unknown person on M/Cycle sped away after snatching complainant’s purse containing ATM Card, Aadhar Card, I-Card, Cash Rs 500/- near Dispensary, Sector-20A, Chandigarh on 15.03.2021. A case FIR No. 11, U/S 379A, IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady R/o Sector-35, Chandigarh reported that unknown persons on M/Cycle sped away after snatching complainant’s carry bag containing red gown, keys and purse and photo copy of Aadhar card near Park, Sector-35C, Chandigarh on 15.03.2021. A case FIR No. 47, U/S 379A, IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Gourav R/o # 460 NIC Mani Majra, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Shiv mandir new Indra colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 15.03.2021. Total cash Rs. 3250/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 22, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
