One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

 Chandigarh Police arrested Shokeen R/O # 1555, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh and recovered 15 bottles of English liquor from his possession near Railway under bridge, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 12.02.2021. A case FIR No. 25, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Pankaj Kumar R/o # 1520, Chaman Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons on activa scooter snatched away complainant’s mobile phone, purse containing adhaar card and some cash near Dhanas Lake, Chandigarh on 11.02.2021. A case FIR No. 19, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons on Activa snatched away complainant’s Bag containing 1 mobile phone, 2 ATM cards of SBI and total cash RS. 17500/- near Uppal marble society, Mani majra turn, Chandigarh on 12.02.2021. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 379A IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Ankur Sharma R/o # 3271/2, Sector-40D, chandigarh, reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No HP-21A6504 parked from market sector-40D, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 46, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Devi Partap Singh R/o # 648, Vikas Nagar, Nayagaon Distt. Mohali (PB), reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No HR22C-4461 from Multi Level Parking sector-17, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 25, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Distt. Motihari, Bihar harassed the complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 12, U/S 498A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
