Two persons arrested for consuming liquor at public places

       Two cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-36 and PS-39, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 05.12.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 258, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Mohammad Shamshad R/o Shastri nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near fish market, Shastri nagar, MM, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 259, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Om Parkash R/o Shastri nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near fish market, Shastri nagar, MM, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

          A case FIR No. 274, U/S 323, 325 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Mukesh R/o # 54, Phase-1, BDC, Sector -26, Chandigarh against unknown person who beaten complainant near House No. 63, Phase-1, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 05.12.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          Amar Podar r/o # 4926, Maloya colony, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away battery of complainant’s Auto No. CH01TB-1008 from slip road near 29/1 EWS Flats, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh on the night intervening 30-11/01-12-2019. A case FIR No. 197, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          Nitesh Kumar r/o # 70/1, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh reported that unknown driver of Activa No. CH01BS9137, who hit to complainant (Pedestrian) at slip road near # 29/1 EWS flats, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh on 05.12.2019. A case FIR No. 198, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
