मैसूर में खुदाई के दौरान मिलीं नंदी प्रतिमाएँ

मैसूर: कर्नाटक में मैसूर के पास एक सूखी झील से सैकड़ों वर्ष पुरानी भगवान शिव की सवारी नंदी बैल की दो प्रतिमाएं खुदाई के दौरान सामने आई हैं. यह खबर सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर वायरल हो रही है. प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, मैसूर से करीब 20 किमी दूर बसे अरासिनाकेरे की एक सूख चुकी झील में नंदी बैल की सदियों पुरानी प्रतिमाओं की यह जोड़ी खुदाई के दौरान मिली है.

बताया जा रहा है कि खुदाई करके मूर्तियों को बाहर निकालने का काम यहां के स्थानीय निवासियों ने ही किया है. सोशल मीडिया के अनुसार, अरासिनाकेरे के बुजुर्ग इस झील में नंदी की प्रतिमाएं होने की बात करते थे. जब कभी झील में पानी का स्तर कम होता था, तो कहा जाता था कि प्रतिमाओं का सिर नजर आता है. बताया जा रहा है कि इस वर्ष नदी के पूरे तौर पर सूख जाने बाद यहां के स्थानीय निवासियों ने इस जगह पर खुदाई कर सच को जानने का मन बनाया. 

खबरों की मानें तो, स्थानीय लोगों ने झील की तीन से चार दिनों तक खुदाई की. इस दौरान उन्होंने खुदाई का काम अच्छी तरह से करने के लिए जेसीबी मशीन भी मंगवाई. वहीं, करीब चार दिनों तक चली खुदाई के बाद झील की जमीन के अंदर दबी नंदी बैल की प्रतिमाओं को बाहर निकाल लिया गया है.  

वहीं, इस बात की जानकारी लगने पर पुरातत्व विभाग के अधिकारियों की एक टीम भी वहां पहुंच चुकी है. दावा किया जा रहा है कि ये मूर्तियां विजयनगर काल के बाद की हैं. यह 16 वीं या 17 वीं शताब्दी की हो सकती हैं. 

महत्वपूर्ण कमेटियों में अपना नाम न देख भड़के दलवई ने कॉंग्रेस पर मुसलमानों की अनदेखी का लगाया आरोप

हुसैन दलवई ने कहा कि जिन 14 मुसलमानों को इन कमेटियों में शामिल किया भी गया है, उसमें एक भी शिया समुदाय का नहीं, जबकि प्रतिनिधित्व सबको मिलना चाहिए. दरअसल को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमेटी समेत कई कमेटियों में हुसैन दलवई का नाम शामिल है, लेकिन स्ट्रेटेजी कमेटी में उनका नाम शामिल नहीं है. जबकि आरिफ नसीम खान को इसमें शामिल किया गया है. इस महत्वपूर्ण कमेटी में अपना नाम ना होने के कारण हुसैन दलवई नाराज़ दिख रहे हैं.

नई दिल्ली: कांग्रेस के राज्यसभा सांसद हुसैन दलवई ने महाराष्ट्र कांग्रेस की नई कमेटियों में मुसलमानों को कम प्रतिनिधित्व मिलने पर सवाल खड़े किए हैं. हुसैन दलवई ने मुलसमानों को नजरअंदाज करने का आरोप लगाने के साथ ही राहुल ग़ांधी को चिठ्ठी लिखी है और हालात ठीक करने की मांग की है.

हुसैन दलवई का कहना है कि महाराष्ट्र में कांग्रेस ने 8 कमेटियां बनाई, जिसमें कुल 210 लोगों को शामिल किया गया है, लेकिन इनमें सिर्फ 14 मुस्लिम हैं. जबकि महाराष्ट्र में मुसलमान हमेशा कांग्रेस के साथ खड़ा रहा, लेकिन कांग्रेस उन्हें नज़र अंदाज़ कर रही है. दलवई ने आरोप लगाया कि इन तमाम बातों का असर महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव के टिकट बंटवारे में भी देखने को मिल सकता है, जो ठीक नहीं है.

हुसैन दलवई ने यहां तक कह दिया कि जिन 14 मुसलमानों को इन कमेटियों में शामिल किया भी गया है, उसमें एक भी शिया समुदाय का नहीं, जबकि प्रतिनिधित्व सबको मिलना चाहिए. अब उन्हें राहुल गांधी से उम्मीद है क्योंकि वो ही उनके नेता हैं.

दरअसल, महाराष्ट्र कांग्रेस ने प्रदेश स्तर पर 8 कमेटियों का एलान किया है, जिसमें को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमेटी समेत कई कमेटियों में हुसैन दलवई का नाम शामिल है, लेकिन स्ट्रेटेजी कमेटी में उनका नाम शामिल नहीं है. जबकि आरिफ नसीम खान को इसमें शामिल किया गया है. इस महत्वपूर्ण कमेटी में अपना नाम ना होने के कारण हुसैन दलवई नाराज़ दिख रहे हैं.

महाराष्ट्र में विधानसभा चुनाव अभी दूर है लेकिन राजनैतिक पार्टियों की तैयारियां अभी से शुरू हो गई हैं. यही वजह है कि कांग्रेस ने कमेटियां गठित कर दी है लेकिन इन कमेटियों को लेकर ही पार्टी के सांसद ने सवाल खड़े कर दिए है.

Youth held for murder

          Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police got a major success in a recent murder case of Police Station Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh in which young boy Satish was attacked by unknown boys by hitting the beer bottle in his head and later on he succumbed to injuries. The team of Crime Branch of Chandigarh headed by SI Satvinder under the supervision of DSP Sh. Rajeev Kumar Ambastha cracked this case and arrested main accused involved in this crime.

Facts of the case:

          The case FIR No. 127 dated 14.7.2019 u/s 302,34 IPC PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh was registered on the complaint of Sh. Jatinder Kumar S/o Ram Milan R/o # 1145, Mouli Complex, Chandigarh in which he stated that his brother Satish has been attacked by two unknown boys with beer bottle on his head and got some injuries. Later on he was admitted to General Hospital Sec.6, Panchkula where he succumbed to injuries.

Apprehension of accused.

          Today, afternoon, an information was received that the main accused Deepak, who is involved in the recent murder case at Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh is roaming in the area of Mouli Jagran and will try to run away from Chandigarh to other state by train. On that information, SI Satvinder Singh alongwith the police party laid the naka on railway station road towards Mouli Jagran to Railway Station, Chandigarh for checking and during checking a young boy came from the Mouli Jagran  and on seeing the police party, he turn back and try to escape, on the identification of the informer but he was apprehended with the help of police party and he disclosed his name Deepak. In the mean time Investigating official of this case of Police Station Mouli Jagran alongwith the police reached on the spot and accused Deepak was handed over to him and was arrested in the present case respectively.

Reason for murder

          Accused Deepak alongwith his friend was present in the park near Masjid, Mouli Complex in the mean time deceased Satish alongwith his friend Sabed also came there. Deepak was in doubt that they came in their colony for ‘AASHIQUI’ (Romance).  Deepak asked them to go from there. On this they falls in an altercation. In the mean while Deepak alongwith his friend caught hold Satish and hit the beer bottle on his head and escaped from the spot.

Administrator Inaugurates Van Mahotsav in Chandigarh

 “Van Mahotsav” refers to “tree-plantation ceremony”, which is celebrated every year, in the month of July, to inculcate among the general public the need for growing trees and preserving them. To observe this tree plantation festival in a befitting manner by involving various Greening agencies like NGOs, Resident Welfare Associations, Eco-Clubs besides Government agencies, Department of Forest & Wildlife, Chandigarh Administration organized ‘Van Mahotsava-2019’ today at Panjab University Campus, Chandigarh in which Sh.V.P.Singh Badnore, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab & the Administrator, UT Chandigarh was the Chief Guest of the function.

The Administrator inaugurated the Van Mahotsav 2019 by planting a ‘Kalpatru’plant. After planting a sapling, the Administrator inaugurated ‘Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station (CAAQMS)’ in front of Department of Public Health near Panjab University Campus, Sector-25, Chandigarh which has been installed by Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee. This CAAQMS system is very useful by which various Ambient Air Quality parameters can be monitored online on real time basis.

During the function, the State of Environment Chandigarh-2018”prepared by Department of Environment, UT Chandigarh whichcovers all the major environmental aspects of Chandigarh, was released by Sh. VP Singh Badnore. He also released the booklet on“Medicinal Plants of Chandigarh”prepared by Department of Forest & Wildlife, UT Chandigarh. This booklet will serve as a handy guide for students, researchers or entrepreneurs who will help in easy identification and to understand usages of medicinal plants. Subsequently, the Administrator inaugurated the “Paudh Mela” at parking area of Sukhna Lake. On this occasion, Sh. Debendra Dalai, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, UT Chandigarh informed that Van Mahotsav is celebrated every year to sensitize and create awareness amongst all the stakeholders.

Paudh Mela has been organized for two days wherein the general public can collect saplings. Forest Department is distributing saplings free of cost whereas Horticulture Wings of Engineering Department, UT and Municipal Corporation are selling plants at nominal rates depending on the species.  One Stall of Eco Club of Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Sec 35-D, Chandigarh has also been set up where compost prepared from fallen dry leaves is being distributed to the interested people.

Afgan Students met VC-PU

            2 representatives of Afgani students namely Shukria Sadat and Naweed Altaf today met Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh. They informed that there are various students who are drop-outs from UG/PG Courses of Panjab University because of various personal issues.  A letter from Embassy of Afghan was submitted to PU VC to consider conducting their special exam for these drop-out students in order to complete their degrees and go back to their respective countries. PU VC has assured to provide help in this regard.

Drones and other low flying objects are prohibetid in Chandigarh for next 60 days

ORDER UNDER SECTION 144 Cr. P.C.

Korel, Chandigarh, 16th July 2019: 

It has been made to appear to Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, I.A.S., District Magistrate, Chandigarh, that because of possibility of law & order problem, security threats and possibility of misuse of Drone by anti-social elements and others who can create panic in the public and also public nuisance, and as such there is very high apprehension of breach of peace and disturbance of public tranquility besides danger to human lives and safety by using of Drone and low flying objects.

And whereas Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, I.A.S., District Magistrate, Chandigarh, in view of the above and request made by SSP, U.T., Chandigarh is  of the opinion that flying of Drone and low flying objects, within the Union Territory, Chandigarh must be prohibited to prevent undue loss to the life and the property.

Now therefore, Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, I.A.S., District Magistrate, Chandigarh do, hereby, prohibit as measure of urgency to the public generally or any member thereof on the flying of Drone and low flying objects etc., within the limits of Union Territory of Chandigarh for a period of 60 days.

This order shall come into force from zero hours and shall be effective for a period of sixty days up-to and including 12.09.2019

जलशक्ति अभियान की कार्यशाला का आयोजन

पंचकूला, 16 जुलाई-

जलशक्ति अभियान के तहत आज जिला सचिवालय के बैठक हाल में एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यशाला की अध्यक्षता जिला परिषद की चेयरपर्सन श्रीमती रितु सिंगला ने किया और कार्यक्रम में जिला परिषद की मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सुश्री निशु सिंगल सहित अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी शामिल थे।

मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी ने कार्यशाला में उपस्थित जनप्रतिनिधियों और ग्राम सचिवों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि लोगों को जल संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक करें। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्र में तलाबों के जीर्णोद्धार के लिये कार्य योजना तैयार की जा रही है ताकि वर्षा के पानी का संग्रह करके वाॅटर रिचार्जजिंग को बढ़ावा दिया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि घटता जल स्तर चिंता का विषय है और इसके लिये प्रशासन व नागरिक मिलकर जल संरक्षण के लिये प्रयास करें। 

उन्होंने कहा कि पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में जहां वाॅटर शैड इत्यादि के माध्यम से जल संरक्षण की संभावना है, उसके लिये भी संबंधित विभागों के माध्यम से प्रयास किये जा रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस अभियान के तहत प्राकृतिक जल स्त्रोतों को सुरक्षित करने के अलावा जागरूकता गतिविधियों पर विशेष बल दिया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां किसानों को कम सिंचाई वाली फसलें उगाने के लिये सरकार द्वारा जल ही जीवन है कार्यक्रम चलाया गया है वहीं घरों और संस्थानों में प्रतिदिन प्रयोग होने वाले जल की बचत के लिये भी जागरूकता जीवन है। उन्होंने कहा कि भावी पीढ़ियों के लिये जल के पर्याप्त भंडारण के लिये आज से जल संरक्षण पर ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।

  इस कार्यशाला में सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारी अभियंता संदीप कुमार, पंचायती राज विभाग के कार्यकारी अभियंता अशोक श्योकंद, खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी डाॅ. दलजीत सिंह, सहायक भूमि संरक्षण अधिकारी राहुल बढकोटिया, परियोजना अधिकारी राजेंद्र कुमार सहित अन्य अधिकारियों ने भी प्रतिभागियों को जलशक्ति अभियान के अलग अलग पहलुओं की जानकारी दी।
