अखिल भारतीय बैंक अधिकारी संघ, जिसके पूरे देशभर में 3.20 लाख से ज्यादा बैंक कर्मचारी सदस्य हैं, ने आज पंजाब नेशनल बैंक, बैंक स्कवेर, सैक्टर – 17, चंडीगढ़ में भारी प्रदर्शन किया, जिसमें 1000 से अधिक बैंक अधिकारियों ने हिस्सा लिया और इनहोने Charter of Demand के अंतर्गत स्केल -VII तक के अधिकारियों की काफी समय से लंबित वेतन बढ़ोत्तरी और पाँच कार्यदिवस की माँग को तुरंत प्रभाव से लागू करने की बात राखी और तृतीय पक्ष के उत्पादों की गलत बिक्री को रोकना, NPA रिकवरी करना, बैंक के वास्तविक कार्य को करना, और बैंकों के विलय के विरोध में प्रदर्शन किया । इस मौके पर कॉमरेड दीपक शर्मा, संयुक्त महा सचिव, अखिल भारतीय बैंक अधिकारी संघ, ने वेतन वृधी में देरी के लिए कड़े शब्दों में सरकार ओर भारतीय बैंकिंग संघ की निंदा की जो की नवम्बर 2017 से होनी चाहिए थी और उन्होने Charter of Demand के अंतर्गत स्केल -VII तक के अधिकारियों की तुरंत प्रभाव से वेतन वृधी की माँग की है । उन्होने तुरंत पाँच कार्यदिवस को भी अमल में लाने की बात कही । इनहोने आगे कहा की अपनी मांगों को मनवाने के लिए बैंक अधिकारी 21 दिसम्बर 2018 को 24 घंटे की हड़ताल पर रहेंगे ।

इस मौके पर कॉमरेड संजय शर्मा , प्रधान , एसबीआईओए , चंडीगढ़ मण्डल , ने केन्द्रीय सरकार तथा इंडियन बैंक संघ की जमकर आलोचना की तथा वेतन समझोता जल्दी लागू करने को कहा । उन्होने ये बताया के बैंकिंग इंडस्ट्री का 84% एनपीए बड़े उद्योग घरानो का है और सरकार भी उनके साथ मिलीभगत है इस की वजय से बैंक घाटे में चल रहे है ।

इस मौके पर कॉमरेड अशोक गोयल , प्रधान एआईबीओसी चंडीगढ़ स्टेट ने भी संबोधित किया ।

इस मौके पर बोलते हुए कॉमरेड टी एस साग्गू, राज्य सचिव, अखिल भारतीय बैंक अधिकारी संघ, ने कड़े शब्दों सरकार की बैंकों के विलय की नीति की निंदा की और कहा की एक तरफ तो सरकार नए बैंकों के लाईसेंस जारी कर रही है ओर दूसरी तरफ कमज़ोर बैंक क नाम पर PSB बैंकों का विलय कर रही है । उन्होने बताया की लगभग सभी Public Sector bank परिचालन मुनाफे में हैं और प्रावधानों की वजह से कुल घाटे में है । सरकार बड़े कॉर्पोरेट दोषियों से पूर्ति करने में गंभीर नहीं है ओर नाही कोई शख्त कानून बनाया जा रहा है जिस से इन कॉर्पोरेट से ऋण की वसूली की जा सके । इनहोने आगे कहा की 21 दिसम्बर को होने वाली 24 घंटे की प्रस्तावित हड़ताल में भारी प्रदर्शन कार्यक्रम सभी मुख्य कार्यालय और जिला मुख्यालय में किए जायेंगे, अपनी मांगों के पक्ष मे चिन्ह पहनना, सभी शाखा, कार्यालय, रेल्वे स्टेशन, बस स्टैंड, मे पोस्टर्स लगाना शामिल है और लंच के समय और शाम को रैली करना शामिल है सभी शाखा, कार्यालय और दिल्ली में केंद्रीकृत और सभी राज्यों की राजधानी में धरना और ज्ञापन सौपना शामिल है ।

इस सभा में , कॉमरेड विपिन बेरी, कॉमरेड हरविंदर सिंह , कॉमरेड सचिन कुमार ,कॉमरेड अरूण सीक्का , कॉमरेड डी एन लूना, कॉमरेड नीरू सलदी, कॉमरेड बलविंदर सिंह एवं अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित थे ।

A meeting was held today at DC Office, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of  Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh, regarding the Swasth Bharat Yatra to be held in the City Beautiful from 26th December 2018.
Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister India vision of leveraging 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, various activities and movement have been planned.
Swasth Bharat Yatra’, a pan India Cyclothon, is a key element of the Eat Right India movement.  150 ‘Volunteer-cyclists’ along with the ‘Eat Right Mobile Unit’ and ‘Mobile Food Testing Unit’ are travelling across the country over 100+ days to engage citizens on issues of food safety, combating food adulteration and healthy diets.
Volunteer Cyclists will be handing over the symbolic relay baton to Chandigarh on 26th December, 2018. The cyclothon will be flagged off from Sukhna Lake Chandigarh by Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT, Chandigarh, Sh. V P Singh Badnore.
The cyclothon flagged off on 16th October, 2018 (World Food Day) will be culminated after covering 2000+ locations at New Delhi on 27th January, 2019.
The theme of the events is based on:-
Eat Healthy: Eating a balanced diet, Reducing foods high in fat sugar and salt, Eliminating tans-fats, Convergence with Ayushmaan Bharat, Convergence with National Health Mission
Eat safe: Personal and surrounding hygiene: Following practices that maintain personal and  surrounding hygiene are essential to prevent food and water borne illnesses as germs and contaminants often carry pathogens that spread these diseases.  This includes hand washing, keeping clean, proper garbage disposal and pest control.
Eating Fortified food: Fortification is a proven and useful supplementary strategy to tackle  micronutrient deficiencies.  Staple foods that have added vitamins and minerals to improve their nutritional content are called fortified foods.
No Food Waste: Millions of tons of food are wasted every day.  One third of all food is spoiled or  wasted before consumption, even as billions go hungry daily.  Thus, reducing food waste and ensuring that surplus food is distributed to people in need.
Cycling: Cycling is a healthy, low-impact exercise that can be enjoyed by people of all  ages, from young children to older adults.
Brisk walking: These are many benefits of brisk walking.  It reduces blood pressure, lowers  cholesterol, and lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers.

Chandigarh, 17th December 2018: State Level Kala Utsav was celebrated as per the guidelines of MHRD/NCERT from 15th to 20thNovember, 2018 at Bhavan Vidayalaya Sector-27 and GGMSSS-18, Chandigarh.

Students who attained 1st position at cluster level participated in four different events i.e. Dance, Music (Vocal), Music (Instrumental) and Painting   during State level Kala Utsav.  1st position holders (04 boys and 04 girls) in each event at State level further participated in National level event of Kala Utsav which was held from 12th to 14th December, at National Bal Bhawan, New Delhi.

Adding to Chandigarh’s pride, Harsimranjot Kaur student of GGMSSS-18  bagged 1st position in Music (Vocal) in National level Kala Utsav wherein students from all over the country participated.  It was a historic moment when she was awarded with cash prize of Rs. 12500/- , Medal and Trophy  by  Mrs. Rina Ray, Secretary , Department of School Education and Literacy, MHRD, New Delhi during the closing ceremony of the Kala Utsav 2018 on 15th December , 2018 at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi .

 In continuation of a special drive against consuming liquor at public place, yesterday, the drive was carried out at different parts of the city. Under this drive total 03 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered in different police stations of Chandigarh in which total 03 persons were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Robin Singh R/o # 2193/B, Block No.15, Sector-63, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person stolen away 04 alloy wheels of complainant’s  Scorpio car No.PB-05AA-8481 while parked near his residence on night intervening 15/16.12.2018. A case FIR No. 220, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Sh. Sonu R/o # 206, Village-Burail, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons on Motor Cycle snatched away his mobile phone and cash Rs. 1,000/- near Light Point, Sector-43/A, Chandigarh on 16-12-2018. A case FIR No. 438, U/S 379, 356, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

Sh. Mohammad Aslam R/o # 799, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh alleged that Amir Khan R/o Jhuggi No. 192, near Shiv Mandir, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh attacked on complainant and his sister-in-law with knife at his residence on 15.12.2018. A case FIR No. 307, U/S 323, 324, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh. Both got injured and admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh and later both referred to GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person namely Amir Khan has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Eve-teasing

Servant, tenant verification camp and drug awareness camp held at village Kaimbwala

Today a servant tenant verification camp and drug awareness camp in association with  Alcoholic anonymous was held at village Kaimbwala. 160 residents of village Kaimbwala gave information about their tenants by filling tenant forms. People were made aware about bad effects of alcohol and drugs. 2000 pamphlets on drug awareness were distributed throughout the village Kaimbwala.

नेहरू युवा केन्द्र पंचकूला द्वारा संकल्प से सिधि कार्यक्रम का आयोजन टिपस सैटर बरवाला  मे किया गया जिसमे 85 युवाओं व युवतीयों द्वारा भाग लिया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत प्रदीप सिंह उतरों द्वारा सभी का स्वागत करते हुए नेहरू युवा केन्द्र संगठन की भूमिका व युवा मंडलो के विकास पर बल दिया। इस कार्यकम का मुख्य बिंदु युवा नेतृत्व विकास , बुनियादी शिक्षा व कौशल विकास, पर्यावरण व जीवन कौशल जैसे मुद्दो पर मंथन करना था। यह कार्यक्रम महात्मा गांधी जी की 150 वी जयंती को भी सर्मपित है।  बाजवा ने बताया संकलप कभी अधूरे नही रहते बर्शत है कि व्यक्ति अपने संक्लप के दृृड संकलप हो।
 इस कार्यक्रम में वन विभाग से सेवानिवृत वेदप्रकाश द्वारा पर्यावरण को सुरक्षित बनाने पर विभिन्न पहलुओं पर चर्चा की गई जिसमें उपस्थित युवाओं से अनुरोध किया की वे पेडों को अपने मित्र बनाकर उनका पालन, पोषण करें। हिमालयन कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण सैंटर सै-26 पंचकूला से समन्वयक मनीष कुमार  द्वारा कौशल विकास को युवाओं का भविष्य बताया । उन्होने बताया कि अगर आपके पास हुनर है तो आपको रोजगार की चिंता नही करनी चाहिए। उपभोक्ता फोरम पंचकूला से नरेन्द्र द्वारा उपभोक्ता के हितो के लिए विभिन्न जानकारी उपलब्ध कराई गई।
कुलदीप सिंह द्वारा सूचना के अधिकार  पर विस्तृत जानकारी दी। इसी दौरान युवाओ के साथ कौमी एकता पर भी चर्चा की गई व सभी को एकता की शपथ दिलाई गई । कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ। अनिल कुमार बागवाली ने भी सभी को स्वच्छता के बारे में जागरूक किया गया।

उपायुक्त मुकुल कुमार ने दूसरे राज्यों से आये बेघर एवं खुले में शयन करने वाले लोगों को सर्दी के प्रकोप से, जोकि गत दिनों हुई वर्षा के कारण बढ़ी ठंड से बचाने हेतू संबंधित अधिकारियों को निदेश दिये है कि वे अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में सायं 7 से रात 10 बजे तक निरीक्षण करके खुले में सो रहे बेघर लोगों को निकटतम शरण-गृह में स्थानांतरित करना सुनिश्चित करें।
उपायुक्त ने संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि स्थानांतरित करते समय निरीक्षण अधिकारी अपने साथ पर्याप्त संख्या में कंबल लेकर जाये तथा बेघर लोगों के सर्दी से बचाव का समुचित प्रबंध करना भी सुनिश्चित करेगे। शरण-गृहों के नाम, पता व केयर टेकर के संपर्क सूत्र दर्शाते हुए बैनर सभी मुख्य स्थानों बस स्टेंड, रेलवे स्टेशन, नागरिक कार्यालयों एवं धार्मिक स्थलों पर लगाये जाये और सुनिश्चित किया जाये कि ये संपर्क सूत्र दिन रात कार्य करेंगे। सभी शरण-गृहों में हवादार कमरों, पीने एवं अन्य आवश्यकताओं के लिये जल एवं निकास, स्नान एवं शौच सुविधाओं शरण गृहों के लिये पर्याप्त प्रकाश, अग्नि-सुरक्षा, प्राथमिक चिकित्सा, कीट एवं कृमि (मच्छर) नियंत्रण रुम हीटर, कंबलों की नियमित सफाई, साफ गद्दे एवं चादरें, नशा मुक्ति इत्यादि की समुचित प्रबंध होने चाहिए।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि शहरी बेघर लोगों के खाने के लिये कुछ गैर सरकारी संस्थाओं के सहयोग से प्रबंध करें। इसी प्रकार स्थानीय राजकीय चिकित्सयालों से संपर्क करके शहरी बेघर लोगों के स्वास्थ्य निरीक्षण का भी प्रबंध किया जाये।  उन्होंने कहा कि आदेशों की पालना करके पालना एवं प्रगति रिपोर्ट नियमित रुप से उपायुक्त कार्यालय में भिजवाना सुनिश्चित करें। आदेशों में इस मामले में एसडीएम पंचकूला एवं कालका को अपने-अपने अधिकार क्षेत्रों में नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है।

Traffic Police Chandigarh Celebrated Vijay Divas-A War Against Pkistan to Librate Bangladesh

Today, Vijay Diwas was celebrated to commemorate armed forces victory over Pakistan in 1971 Bangladesh liberation war. Bakhtwar Cycling Club and Thumpers Café with large number of residents, doctors, social activist, ex-army men and NCC cadets have participated. Chandigarh Police Traffic Cycle Squad also participated and given message to the tricity residents to keep environment healthy and promoted cycling in the city. Sh Arjun, IAS SDM East along with SDPO South Ms. Niharika Bhatt IPS & DSP Jaswinder Singh wreath at war memorial in Chandimandir and rest of the participants paid tribute with flowers.

Two arrested for theft

Sh. Sukhbir Singh R/o # 2634, Sector-22/C, Chandigarh alleged that two persons namely Deepak R/o # 377, Village-Burail, Chandigarh and Sant Ram R/o # 412, Sector-52, Chandigarh had stolen his Swaraj Mazda Bus No. CH-04D-0307 while parked near Sector-43/44 light point, Chandigarh on 14.12.2018. On 14.12.18, complainant caught both accused persons red handed with his stolen Bus near Night Food Street, Sector-14, Chandigarh.  A case FIR No. 433, U/S 379, 411, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Alleged persons namely Deepak R/o # 377, Village-Burail, Chandigarh and Sant Ram R/o # 412, Sector-52, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Suresh R/o # 127/C, EWS Colony, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh from Kacha Rasta near Rana Nursery, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 6 bottles of country made liquor on 15.12.2018. A case FIR No. 238, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay Das R/o # 221, Gwala Colony, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh from near cow shed, Gwala Colony, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 20 quarters of Country made liquor on 15.12.2018. A case FIR No. 239, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sh. Harpreet Singh R/o # 280, Village-Badheri, Sector-41, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Car No. CH-01BL-2452 while parked near his residence during night intervening 12/13.12.2018. A case FIR No. 440, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village-Daria, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person abducted her daughter age about 15 years and one another girl (neighbor) age about 15 years from their residence, village-Daria, Chandigarh on 15.12.2018. A case FIR No. 352, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh.   Later missing girls traced out.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 246, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against a lady resident of Distt.-Mohali, Punjab who was running an immigration Consultancy Office “The Creative Future Consulnza Education Overseas Pvt. Ltd.” at SCO No. 145-146, Sector-9/D, Chandigarh without any permission and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later she bailed out.

A case FIR No. 247, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against a lady resident of Distt.-Jalandhar, Punjab who was running an immigration Consultancy Office I to A at SCO No. 126-127, 2nd floor, Sector-8/C, Chandigarh without any permission and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later she bailed out.

Assault

        Sh. Subhash R/o # 783, Vikas Nagar, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh alleged that Shanu Dube, Ram Babu, Rakesh Kumar and Amit Tiwari all attacked complainant and also threatened him with double barreled shotgun (dunali) near Community Centre, Vikas Nagar, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh on  the night intervening 13/14.12.2018. A case FIR No. 351, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 506 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Shanu Dube R/o # 2703, Vikas Nagar, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh alleged that Mukesh Rai, Rakesh Rai, Manoj Singh and Subhash Maurya all attacked complainant, threatened him with country made gun (katta) and also snatched his gold chain from near Community Centre, Vikas Nagar, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh on 13.12.2018. A case FIR No. 352, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 356, 379, 506 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

विंध्या में कम वोटों के चलते ईवीएम की होगी फोरेंसिक जांच

यकीन मानिए यह बदले की राजनीति नहीं मनी जाएगे यह तो मात्र यह सुनिश्चित करना है की लोक सभा चुनाव कांग्रेस ही जीते

सोमवार को मध्यप्रदेश में नव निर्वाचित मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ सिंह ने शपथ ग्रहण कर ली है. शपथ ग्रहण के पहले कमलनाथ ने कहा कि प्रदेश में सबसे बड़े दल के तौर पर सामने आने के बावजूद कांग्रेस का विंध्य क्षेत्र में ईवीएम की विश्वसनीयता पर शक बरकरार है. उन्होंने कहा कि वह इलाके में हुई वोटिंग पैटर्न का विशेषज्ञों से निष्पक्ष जांच कराएंगे. प्रदेश में 11 दिसंबर को मतगणना हुई थी.

15 साल बाद मध्यप्रदेश की सत्ता में वापस आई कांग्रेस का इस बार विन्ध्य इलाके में सबसे खराब प्रदर्शन रहा. उसे वहां पर 30 में से मात्र 6 सीटें मिली जबकि बीजेपी को 24 सीटें. इस इलाके से कांग्रेस के दो वरिष्ठ नेता भी हार गए थे. जिनमें निवर्तमान मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा में प्रतिपक्ष नेता अजय सिंह (अपनी परंपरागत चुरहट सीट) और प्रदेश विधानसभा के उपाध्यक्ष राजेंद्र सिंह (अमरपाटन सीट) शामिल हैं.

ईवीएम की करेंगे फॉरेंसिक जांच

एक सवाल के जवाब में कमलनाथ ने बताया, ‘मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव में इस बार बहुमत के नजदीक आने के बावजूद हमारा ईवीएम पर विन्ध्य इलाके में शक बरकरार है.’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘हमने विन्ध्य क्षेत्र की वोटिंग और परिणाम पर एक फोरेंसिक स्टडी की पहल की है, जो कि वोटिंग पर एक्जिट पोल की तरह सर्वे करेगा. मेरे पास आज सुबह (शनिवार) विन्ध्य से लोग आए और कह रहे थे कि गांव ने (कांग्रेस को) वोट डाले, लेकिन (परिणाम) मशीन से कुछ अलग निकली. इसकी हम एक फोरेंसिक स्टडी करेंगे.’

कमलनाथ ने बताया, ‘हम फोरेंसिक जांच कर रहे हैं. वहां (विन्ध्य क्षेत्र) के वोटिंग पैटर्न पर निष्पक्ष जांच कराएंगे. एक बार जांच रिपोर्ट आने के बाद फिर चुनाव आयोग से बात करुंगा.’ उन्होंने बताया, ‘फोरेंसिक रिपोर्ट आती है तो बीजेपी उस पर आपत्ति कर सकती है. वह किस बात पर विरोध करेगें? मैं जांच करवा रहा हूं और मैं उसका पैसा दूंगा.’

विन्ध्य में परिणाम वोटिंग पैटर्न से मेल नहीं खा रहे हैं

कमलनाथ ने कहा कि विन्ध्य इलाके में परिणाम के कारण ईवीएम या इसके प्रबंधन को लेकर शक है. इसलिए फोरेंसिक जांच करा रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि सतना जिले में मतदान के दिन सबसे ज्यादा ईवीएम की गड़बड़ी की सूचना आई और यह लगभग तीन घंटों तक बंद रही. यहां तक कि विन्ध्य में परिणाम वोटिंग पैटर्न से मेल नहीं खा रहे हैं.

उन्होंने कहा, ‘हम स्वतंत्र पेशेवर एजेंसी को नियुक्त कर रहे हैं. वह कम से कम 40 फीसद ग्रामीण इलाकों में संपर्क कर लोगों से पता करेंगे कि उन्होंने किसे वोट दिया था.’ जब उनसे सवाल किया गया कि फोरेंसिक जांच में वोटिंग पैटर्न और परिणामों में गडबड़ी सामने आने पर क्या कांग्रेस अदालत में जाएगी, तो इस पर कमलनाथ ने कहा, ‘रिपोर्ट आने के बाद इस पर विचार करेंगे.’

प्रदेश के विन्ध्य इलाके में सतना, रीवा, सीधी, सिंगरौली और अनूपपुर जिले आते हैं. इस बार विन्ध्य क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस को 30 में से केवल छह सीटें मिली हैं, जबकि 2013 के विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को इस इलाके से 12 सीटें मिली थीं.

राज्य में 121 विधायकों की मदद से बनी कांग्रेस की सरकार

मध्य प्रदेश की कुल 230 विधानसभा सीटों में से कांग्रेस को 114 सीटें मिली हैं. वह बीएसपी के दो, एसपी के एक और चार अन्य निर्दलीय विधायकों के समर्थन से सरकार बना रही है. उसे फिलहाल कुल 121 विधायकों का समर्थन हासिल है. कमलनाथ ने इन 121 विधायकों का समर्थन होने का दावा कर राज्यपाल से सरकार बनाने का दावा किया था और सोमवार को उन्होंने भोपाल के जंबूरी मैदान में मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ग्रहण की. वहीं, बीजेपी को 109 सीटें मिली हैं.

कांग्रेस के किसानों का कर्ज माफ करने के वादे पर रिजर्व बैंक आफ इंडिया के पूर्व गवर्नर रघुराम राजन द्वारा यह बयान देने पर कि यह अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए अच्छा नहीं है, के सवाल पर कमलनाथ ने कहा, ‘मेरे पास इस बारे में पुख्ता योजना और रणनीति है. इसका खुलासा मैं 17 दिसंबर  बाद करुंगा.

उन्होंने कहा, ‘इंटरनेट पर देख लें कि बैंकों ने उद्योग और व्यावसायिक घरानों का 40 से 50 फीसदी कर्ज माफ किया है. यदि उनका कर्ज माफ किया जा सकता है तो किसानों का क्यों नहीं.’ कमलनाथ ने कहा, ‘रघुराम राजन अगर गांव को समझते हैं तो वो बात करें. वह बताएं कि कितने साल गांव में काटे हैं, कितने साल खेतों में काम किया है.’
