विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण 9 दिसंबर को लगाएगा जागरूकता एवं साक्षारता शिविर

जिला विधिक सेवाएं प्राधिकरण की ओर से लोगों को उनके अधिकारों एवं कर्तव्यों के अतिरिक्त घिनौने अपराध से पीडि़त पात्रों को सरकार की ओर से दी जाने वाली सहायता के बारे में जागरूक करने के लिए चालू माह दिसम्बर में 9 कानूनी साक्षरता शिविर आयोजित किए जाएगें। इन शिविरों को सुचारू ढंग से सम्पन्न करवाने के लिए पैनल एडवोकेट के साथ साथ पैरोलिगत वोलिटिंयर की डयूटी लगाई गई है।
इस सबंध में जानकारी देते हुए मुख्य न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी एवं प्राधिकरण के सचिव विवके गोयल ने बताया कि 10 दिसम्बर को सैक्टर 20 स्थित राजकीय मॉडल संस्कृति स्कूल, 11 दिसम्बर को सैक्टर 12 ए स्थित सार्थक स्कूल, 13 दिसम्बर को राजकीय कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय बरवाला में कानूनी साक्षरता शिविर लगाए जाएगें। उन्हांेने बताया कि 17 दिसम्बर को राजीव कालोनी सैक्टर 19 व खण्ड बरवाला के गांव मानकटबरा, 18 दिसम्बर को रायपुर रानी खण्ड के गांव जासपुर व बरवाला खण्ड के गांव शाहपुर में इसी प्रकार के शिविर आयोजित किए जाएगें। उन्होनंे बताया कि 20 दिसम्बर को गांव बिल्ला व गांव मानक्यां में भी कानूनी साक्षरता शिविर आयोजित किए जाएगें।
AIBOC demonstrate for wage revision

Speaking on the occasion Com Deepak Sharma , Joint General Secretary of AIBOC , strongly criticize the government and IBA for delay in their wage revision , which is due since November 2017 and demand immediate wage hike as per the charter of Demand for all the officers up to scale VII . He also demand immediate implementation of five day week . Speaking on the occasion Com T S Saggu , State Secretary , AIBOC strongly criticize the government move of merger /amalgamation of Public Sector Banks and said that on the one side government is issuing licenses to the new small banks and on the other side they are merging the PSBs in the name of weak banks. He stated the all most all the PSBs are in operating profit and in net loss due to provisioning. Celebrations of Armed Forces Flag Day

Chandigarh, 7th December, 2018: 7th Dec is observed as Armed Forces Flag Day throughout India to honour the martyrs as well as men and women in uniform, who valiantly fight on our borders to safeguard the country’s honour. It is an occasion when the citizens of country show their solidarity with Armed Forces by wearing the flags on their dresses and making contributions towards Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. Flag Day gains more significance as it considers that it is the responsibility of the civilian population of India to take care of the families and dependent of the armed forces personnel who fought for the country.
In UT, Chandigarh, the celebration of Armed Forces Flag Day was initiated by Sh. Mandeep Singh Brar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Chandigarh along with other officers of Zila Sainik Welfare Chandigarh and Sh. Maneesh Kumar, Director Defence Services Welfare, Punjab with his officers pinning the Armed Forces Flag on Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh today at Punjab Raj Bhawan. The celebrations extended with the officials at the U.T Secretariat making contributions towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.

One arrested for consuming liquor at public place
A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out.
This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Sarwan Kumar R/o Manav Colony, Village-Saketri, Distt.-Panchkula, Haryana between Hallo Majra Light Point to Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh near electricity pole No.49-50/HM and recovered 50 gram Heroin from his possession on 06-12-2018. Chandigarh Police arrested Taranjit Singh R/o Prof. Colony, Street No.3, Sirhind Mandi, Distt.-Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab at Sector-41/42 dividing road, Chandigarh while illegally possessing 08 boxes of country made liquor loaded in Verna Car on 06.12.2018. हरियाणा के पर्यटन मंत्री रामबिलास शर्मा ने कहा कि हरियाणा की पावन धरा कुरुक्षेत्र से एक बार फिर पवित्र ग्रन्थ गीता के उपदेश अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव के माध्यम से पूरे विश्व में पहुंचेंगे।
श्री शर्मा कुरूक्षेत्र के ब्रहमसरोवर के पावन तट पर शुक्रवार को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2018 के क्राफ्ट व सरस मेले का शुभारम्भ करने के उपरांत बोल रहे थे। इससे पहले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय गीता महोत्सव 2018 के क्राफ्ट व सरस मेले का आगाज आचार्य नरेश कौशिक व 21 ब्राहमणों द्वारा किए गए मंत्रौच्चारण और शंख की सुरीली गूंज के साथ पर्यटन मंत्री रामबिलास शर्मा, केडीबी के मानद सचिव मदन मोहन छाबड़ा ने किया। इस क्राफ्ट मेले में विभिन्न राज्यों की शिल्पकला को देखकर सभी मेहमान गदगद हो गए। पर्यटन मंत्री ने जैसे ही शिल्प व सरस मेले का शुभारम्भ किया, उसी समय 11 राज्यों के कलाकारों ने अपने-अपने प्रदेश के संगीत और वाद्य यंत्रों से निकली सुर और ताल ने ब्रहमसरोवर की फिजा ही बदल दी।
पर्यटन मंत्री श्री राम बिलास शर्मा ने अपने सम्बोधन में कहा कि राज्य सरकार के प्रयासों से तीसरी बार गीता जयंती को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महोत्सव के रुप में मनाया जा रहा है। इस महोत्सव के साथ हरियाणा का गौरव पूरे विश्व में बढ़ेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि इस शिल्प मेले में विभिन्न राज्यों से शिल्पकार अपने-अपने प्रदेश की बेहद खुबसूरत शिल्पकला के साथ पहुंचे है। इस शिल्पकला से ब्रहमसरोवर पर भारत की शिल्पकला को एक साथ देखा जा सकता है। इस प्रकार के सुनहरी अवसर राज्य सरकार के प्रयासों से ही देश-विदेश से आने वाले पर्यटकों को मिल पाएंगे। उन्होंने कई शिल्पकारों से सीधा संवाद करते हुए शिल्पकला के बारे में जानकारी हासिल की और राज्य तथा प्रशासन की तरफ से उपलब्ध करवाई गई तमाम सुविधाओं के बारे में भी फीडबैक ली। इस मेले में आए सभी शिल्पकारों ने क्राफ्ट मेले की व्यवस्थाओं को खुब सराहा है। इन शिल्पकारों में करीब 91 राष्ट्रीय स्तर के शिल्पकार, संत कबीर आवार्ड और स्टेट आवार्डी शामिल है।

इस अवसर पर मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए प्रवीण तोगड़िया ने राम मंदिर पर बोलते हुए कहा कि नेता पार्लियामेंट पहुच गए ओर राम टेंट में रह रहे है। उन्होंने कहाकि 21, 22, 23 अक्टूबर को राम मंदिर के लिए अयोध्या पहुचे थे लेकिन उनका खाना फेंक दिया,रहने के आश्रम बंद करवा दिए।
उन्होंने बीजेपी को आड़े हाथों लेते हुए कहाकि उन्हें चुनाव के लिए माहौल बनाना है लेकिन मंदिर नही बनवाना है। उन्होंने बीजेपी और कांग्रेस पर बोलते हुए कहाकि न उन्हें राफेल वाले चाहिए और न मिसेल वाले चाहिए ,हमे तो राम मंदिर बनाने वाले ,किसानों के कर्ज मुक्ति वाले ओर युवाओं को रोजगार देने वाली सरकार चाहिए ।
प्रवीण तोगड़िया ने कहाकि इस बार पब्लिक की सरकार जो राम मंदिर भी बनायेगी, किसानों का कर्ज भी माफ करेगी ओर युवाओं को रोजगार देगी उसकी योजना बनाएंगे ओर अपनी राजनीतिक पार्टी एक – डेढ़ महीने में बनायेगे ओर सभी सीटों पर लोक सभा चुनाव लड़ेंगे।

After successfully conducting of Ist National Conference of the Computer Committees of High Courts under the aegis of the e-Committee of the Hon’ble Supreme Court on January 20-21, 2018 at Allahabad, 2nd National Conference on “e-Courts Project – Exploring New Horizons” is to be organized on December 8-9, 2018, at Chandigarh Judicial Academy. Justice A.M. Khanwilkar, Justice Hemant Gupta of Hon’ble Supreme Court; Chief Justice of Himachal High Court Justice Surya Kant; Hon’ble Judges of Computer Committees of all High Courts; dignitaries from Hon’ble e-Committee, Supreme Court of India; Department of Justice; Central Project Coordinators of all the High Courts and NIC officers/officials are participating in this Conference.
There would be two working sessions on 08.12.2018, wherein discussions regarding (i) e-Courts Project in High Courts and District Courts: Present scenario & Achievements; (ii) Development of new projects by High Courts at own level and in collaboration with C-DAC, NIC & other Govt. Agencies; and (iii) Migration to CIS 1.0 in High Courts: success & Challenges, would be held.
Similarly, two working sessions would be conducted on 09.12.2018 wherein discussions regarding (i) Sharing best practices and software applications amongst High Courts; (ii) New initiatives: Future projects and goals; and (iii) Migration to CIS 3.0 in Subordinate Courts: success & challenges and implementation, training and e-Awareness, would be held.
During these working sessions, Chairman of Computer Committees of different High Courts would give presentation of the Projects regarding computerization going on in their respective High Courts. A souvenir containing the progress of ongoing and future computerization projects in Hon’ble Supreme Court as well as all the High Courts would be released. A book on I.T. initiatives of High Court of Punjab and Haryana would also be released.
High Court of Punjab and Haryana is going to launch Case Management System CIS 1.0 in the inaugural session of the conference on 08.12.2018. This application is going to be implemented in two phases. In first phase, the High Court will migrate to new filing, allocation and registration system covering more than 70% part of CIS 1.0. As the system stabilizes, in second phase, the High Court will migrate to new Readers Module in another week to 10 days time.
Punjab and High Court has successfully executed all the projects launched by Hon’ble e-Committee, Supreme Court of India. Recently, the High Court has launched bouquet of I.T. initiatives for ease of litigants and lawyers. Some of the prominent initiatives are e-Payment of High Court Services, Android based Mobile Application, Online Grievance & Feedback System, Surety Information Management System, Infrastructure Web Application, Crystal Reports Software, e-Notices, new printing parameters on both sides of paper to save paper, Visitors counter on High Court Website, e-Copy & e-Inspection, supply of certified copy of High Court orders in District Courts, Case Status/ certified copy of orders at Common Service Centres, dedicated website link of Indian Judiciary for NRIs, launching of digitization of Subordinate Courts record etc.
City marked its presence in COP 24 organised at Katowice city of Poland

COP-24 is the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It takes decision which are necessary to ensure the effective implementation of the provisions of the convention and regularly reviews the implementation of these provisions. During the current year COP 24 has been organised at Katowice city of Poland from 2nd to 14th December 2018.
Shri Debendra Dalai, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests and Director Science, Technology and Renewable Energy represented Chandigarh at the conference on 6th December, 2018 at India Pavilion in Katowice (Poland) and made an elaborate presentation at the international forum on various steps taken by Chandigarh Administration to fight the malice of climate change. How a city in pursuit of development has not compromised on the greenery was highlighted before the August gathering from various countries.The aggressive steps taken by the Chandigarh Administration to make Chandigarh a model solar city was highly appreciated and applauded.
A short video film was screened highlighting the steps taken to harness solar energy in Chandigarh. The conference was attended by representatives from various Ministries of Govt of India, other State Governments and international delegates from across the world.
