Two youth arrested, accidental Creta recovered

Chandigarh Police has achieved a major achievement by nabbing two accused persons in criminal case FIR No.341 dated 29.12.2018  U/s 392, 34 IPC 25/27-54-59 Arms Act PS-19, Chandigarh. The facts are that in the night interevening of 29/30-12.2018, a white Creta Car having registration No. CH01BQ-3001 was robbed from Sector-20-A, Chandigarh on Gun Point by two persons. Accordingly the said Criminal Case was registered and investigation was started. Teams were constituted under the supervision of SDPO East including SHO-26 and SHO-19.

During investigation on the secret information one boy alogwith weapon was apprehended near deviding road Sector 20/30 Chandigarh. During enquiry it was revealed that the said boy is juvenile. On asking him he revealed that he alongwith  his friend Ankush Agnihotri age about 19 Years, were staying as PG in Sector 20-A Chandigarh and they consumed alcohol in the night intervening of 29/30-12-2018 and later decided to rob someone to earn quick money. Thus both of them started walking in the area in search of target. It also revealed that it was juvenile boy who had made all their plans and he also possesed weapon. Initially they saw delivery boy on motorcycle but as motorcycle was far away so they couldn’t  target him. In the mean time they saw the Creta car coming from Azad Market side. They both came in front of the said Creta Car and when the car stopped, Juvenile boy pointed his pistol towards the driver of Creta Car and asked him to come out. When the driver(complainant) came out from the car both accused fled away from the spot alongwith Creta Car. He further revealed that he robbed the car because he planned to take the car to UP and get it dismental the car to earn quick money. But while he was driving he met with an accident near Ambala and his friend Ankush got injured. He somehow escaped from the Ambala and returned to Chandigarh to pick his luggage. Thus the juvenile has been apprehended and sent to juvenile home, whereas Ankush Agnihotri was found admitted in GMCH-32 Chandigarh. He has also been arrested in the said case. Creta Car and weapon has also been recovered.

During investigation it has also been found that their information was given by the owner of the PG to Local Police Station. No previous criminal record of both has been found from their respectiev area Police Sations. Investigation of the said case is under progress.
