Carnivous Rottweilers: Championing India on the Global Stage

  • Carnivous Rottweilers: Championing India on the Global Stage at the ADRK Club Show, Germany
  • Royal Kennel Club, Panchkula, lauds ‘Carnivous Rottweilers’ victory at the ADRK Club Show

Demokratic Front, Panchkula – 23     October:

In an incredible display of skill, dedication, and excellence, Carnivous Rottweilers, a premier Dog Kennel Club based in Panchkula, Haryana, has once again brought India to the forefront of the global dog show circuit.

Expressing excitement and pride in the achievement, Mr. Sikander Singh, General Secretary, Panchkula of the Royal Kennel Club says, ‘Carnivous Rottweilers’ victory at the ADRK Club Show is a significant milestone for Indian dog breeders and a shining example of the exceptional talent and dedication of Indian dog enthusiasts.

Competing in the world’s most prestigious dog show, the ADRK Club Show in Germany, often hailed as the ‘Dog Olympics’—the kennel’s champion Rottweiler, Klaus, secured an impressive V7 rating among nearly 352 elite competitors from over 60 countries, including the USA, Canada, China, Malaysia, and Germany.

This historic achievement is part of Carnivous Rottweilers’ ambitious ‘Breed in India’ initiative, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign. The breeders aim to promote and showcase the strength, beauty, and versatility of Indian-bred Rottweilers on the world stage, proving that India is capable of producing top-quality show dogs that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best from around the globe.

Klaus’s journey does not end in Germany. The four-legged star has already clinched the prestigious Excellent 1 (V1) title in Serbia and earned top honors in Bulgaria. Klaus will continue to participate in various competitions across Europe, representing India and demonstrating the country’s growing prowess in canine breeding and training.

This is not the first time Carnivous Rottweilers has made history. Back in 2017, their first champion, Etios, competed internationally, earning India its place in the global dog show community. The kennel’s commitment to excellence and passion for the Rottweiler breed have paved the way for another Indian triumph in 2024. However, this success story comes amidst challenges faced by the pet industry.

The global pet industry is valued at approximately 9,000 crores, but in recent years, the pet sector in India has been impacted directly and indirectly due to various business challenges. Furthermore, dogs, including Rottweilers, are facing bans across India, where they are often labeled as dangerous and unsuitable for domestic ownership. Carnivous Rottweilers remains resolute in addressing these misconceptions.

“Labeling a dog breed as a beast without understanding the gentle, loyal, and intelligent nature of these animals is an injustice,” a spokesperson from Carnivous Rottweilers remarked. “It’s not the government’s fault—they simply may not be aware of the breed’s true nature, and our aim is to generate that awareness. We will continue to fight against this mentality and stigma while working tirelessly to showcase the true nature of these magnificent animals, making India proud on the global stage.”

Carnivous Rottweilers’ mission is clear: not only to champion their beloved breed but also to change the narrative and educate people about the true nature of Rottweilers. They vow to continue pushing boundaries, fighting misconceptions, and, most importantly, celebrating the achievements of Indian-bred champions. Together, let’s celebrate India’s champions—those on two feet and those on four paws.
